No - Taggart needs to tell him to stop trying to get free kicks for the team - especially if they're going to be wasted.

He's a strong lad - pretty sure he managed to stay on his feet during Euro 2004 - I actually thought back then that Fergie had sorted out his diving - looks like he's been told that's his job for Utd !

They all do it, Robben is a right pansy, embarrasses (sp!) me sometimes the way he dramatically falls over as if he's been shot.... good player though

Never mind Robben - We've got Pires & Bergkamp - That's Gold & Silver in any Olympic diving finals for the last 50 years .

I don't mind older players diving - once you've lost your pace it becomes more important - but the youngsters should be encouraged to play first - cheat later .

If you think it's ok for players with the skill of Bergkamp and Pires to dive then what hope is there for the rest of the guys in football?

Hi Jasey

Hi FM - How's tricks .

I stand by my comments re messrs BergKamp & Pires. I would be upset if Van Persie or Reyes spent all day diving rather than running past defenders - but the old boys just aint got the puff anymore.

Bit like it's OK for Roy Keane to kick players up in the air nowadays - but then he's always done that .

Yep - Reyes does seem to go to ground a little on the easy side - but then he hasn't got the same levels of skill as BergKamp - never mind Ronaldo.

Poor players have to dive - like old jug-ears jeffers !

Can't decide if Reyes is Poor, erratic or just doesn't like playing with all those nasty gooners .

My original point about Ronaldo is that he is far too good to dive around the place - but if he gets in the habit of diving first / playing later he'll never fulfill his potential - which would be a shame.

Bit Like Ruud when he first came to Uniched - If he kept diving as he did early doors he wouldn't be the great hero he is now
