Mark, the same camra was used for the pics and the vids but i dont know if the last pic was after the water got in it. If the question was because of the qualaty of the pic then Craig responce should answear that for you.
P20SPD, i thought you were jokeing hence the blow it out your arss reply lol.
The car was mapeed 2 days after the vid clips and hits and holds 1.8bar and is probably between 460 and 480bhp. It's not being pushed to the edge so the is more to come from it and @2bar it should make the 500bhp we were after. I carnt find any pics of the finished engine bay at the moment but will have a look for you.
Clip 5 was a very slow pull away in 1st and then a small roll in 2nd gear, because it was wet and we had to go round a slipy bend the driver held 2nd gear untill the road was straight and the engine was at about 3k then slowly chased the pedal down so it did not spin as it had bin side ways most of the night. Any way it came on boost in 2nd and was reved out all the way in 3rd so thats about 100mph on the PPG box.

What spec was the car at in the clips, before it got mapped to 1.8bar?

There is probably some wisdom in not making your car too easy to identify in YouTube videos... see other scoobynet thread:

Sprint Chief, thanks for pointing that out.
What i mist out of the post above was that the clips were film on a private road with permission for use. As you can see in the pics there is street lighting but it's a closed non pubic acess road hence the reson we could park the cars acros the road to take the pictures.

I know this won't be easy and the is always a trade off but we are just going to have to see how it turns out.

The singel Walbro pump is on the car already and we are looking at may be a twin or a higher LPH pupm like the bosch one you mentioned. We know the GT30R will need custome pipe work and this is sorted. 70% of the parts have been bought already with a few bits to go. In respect to you saying you would not suggest this set up then i would appreciate any thought you may have over what to run.
Jaytc2003
Would it surprise you to know that 90% of this set up has been recomended by Dave @ DP Motorsport, Grant @ AET Turbo's and Dave @ API. the has been some thought gone into this list but if you want to surgest some think then i would appreciate it. The HKS fule cut is already on the car and if the Power FC replaces the need to have it then keep an eye out for it on E-bay, thanks for pointing it out mate.

Cheers buddy, im not the best speller in the world but what it has to do with tuneing a Subaru is beyond me.
RoRu
I know mate, it's mad to think that some one with the money to own and mod a Subaru dose not have the internet or even a PC but there you go. Why would you want to tune a car in a School yard?

What is ment by your coment i don't know but if you want to enlighten me mate then fill your boot's

LMAO, just read all 281 posts and the car as well as my understanding has come a long way. TBH I should not have started the post because it read as if DP Motorsport didn't know what they were doing and no think could be further from the truth. It was indeed their first big power Scoob but i think SSO results speak volumes about their ability to build and tune a daily driven fast road car that can hold it together at a competition level. 10% of what is in this thread was helpful and appreciated and I thank the select few that it came from Paul @ Zen, David wallis, R19KET, Dave from API and a few others, as for all the doubters and **** takers well..............
Final spec is 90% the same as on page 4 and as for est power it should be around 500bhp. PPG box from Zen Performance comes highly recommended as standard boxes don't last 2 minutes.

Def def def get rid of that FSE...mine was running 440 bhp with map from Scoobyclinic and the reg was all over the place higher up the revs/boost - anything over 4.4 bar ish and it just handle it. The fuel cut is another I'd ditch, if you're going to run that kind of boost, you need a fuel cut level for safety.
I'm now running in the 485 bhp mark and getting to the magic 500 is just madness really - my 2.5L is now sweet thanks to Bob R and his tuning + advice on faulty items that I had to change. I'd be worried of the "wrx bottom end" as 350 bhp mark is enough there.

The car looks sick in that video.
Did it really have luggage in the boot? haha
what 60ft times was it getting?
and what do you think it'd run without the luggage an all that jazz 1/4 wise?
sorry about all the questions haha

Yes mate it really did have a spare wheel, tent, 2 sleeping bags clothes and every think els you need for 2 people to go walking across the lakes for a week as well as a full interior, full tank of juice and a sat nav lol. He decided to roll up and run the car 2am the morning of the event so had no time to prep and had no were to put his gear as he went straight to the lakes after it. I think he got a 1.71 60ft wich on the day was good but the were a few guys doing 1.70's. No idea what it could have done but he did not run the 2bar map because he was saving it for the shootouts but they got rained off. the was an easy 80kg between the fuel, luggage and seats that could have come out as well so in the 10's i would have thought.
