A standard WRX300 does 0-60 in 4.8 secs, yours for £19,000 at you local Subaru dealer (with a little discount).
Properly launched, 99% of cars can't touch it WITHIN THE LEGAL LIMIT.
That is good enough for me and the dreamers can keep on dreaming...
Source evo:
Cupra R 225 6.9, Astra VXR 6.7, Golf GTi 6.7, Alfa 147GTA 6.0, BMW 130i 5.9, Focus RS 5.9, Civic Type R 6.8, Cooper S Works 6.6, Clio 182 6.6, Clio V6 255 5.8, RX8 7.0, Nissan 350Z 6.1, Audi S4 5.4, BMW 330i 6.3, MG ZT 260 6.5, Octavia vRS 7.9... getting VERY bored now...
Just WHEN are the others (we're talking same price range) REALLY going to catch up?
Sweet dreams...

Anything driven by someone with more of a point to prove than they value their and others lives eg:
on a recent trip to North Wales an Audi A8 Tdi quattro overtook a line of traffic 12+ cars on 'double whites' and there is no way he could see past 2 cars let alone all of them. Later on the same trip I caught the same car now travelling at normal speeds - he sees me in the mirror and is off again like a scalded cat! I continue at the same moderate pace, no way I am even going to get close to this danger man. He rounds the next blind corner on the wrong side of the road almost killing 52 OAPs (well 52ish I didn't quite have time to count) on a coach coming the other way. Unconcerned he then overtook an Audi TT I would describe as 'going for it' over the next blind crest. Totally scary stuff. And imagine his surprise when he saw me in front of him in traffic in the next town...speed is not everything a short cut is. The final time I saw him he raced up the wrong side of the road to go right at the roundabout - except he went all the way round to skip the traffic queue...what a driver what a man, BMW behaviour in an otherwise very nice Audi, shows that money does not equal sense. The same driver would have 'beaten' me if he was driving a 1.4 Nova.
Choose life & enjoy your car.

Think its because half the people here no longer own scoobys, but they do or have owned other cars to compare a scooby too and know that its not the be all and the end off. Great cars, just not as good as their legend proceeds them to be IMO

Nobody is saying other wise. But if you care to read the whole thread, there are Skylines, Ferraris and Lambo's also mentioned in this thread. I see you haven't mentioned them on your little list. I bet you are one of the Chav's that sit at traffic lights "launching correctly" as you put it from traffic lights racing at every opportuity beating OAP's in there Rover 200's to make a point that you are driving a far superior car. Get a life you prat!!! I'd like to see you get away from a 350z, 330, S4, BM 130 and half the other cars from midrange. And if you are bored, then p1ss off!!!!!!

I think my Chav comment was as original as your comment I highlighted earlier. I've seen you other thread how you don't appreciate folk moaning on about Scoobies, or they have beaten Scoobies. And in actual fact you have a very nice car. But I think you will find that the thread intimated what not to race, based on the fact that you drive a WRX, which is also a very quick car. But by no means the quickest! There is no need for yawns or bored comments.
