Damn I didn't play well last night ... seemed to be cannon fodder for most of you lot!

Yeah.. sorry Alex. Your return to the Server unfortunately co-incided with a rare good night for me and as said over on SNAFU I was VERY impressed with ninja's attitude despite him being one of my favourite targets.

You'll be happy to know that things are back to normal today and I couldn't hit a barn door with anything short of the plane now

 

LOL I've been trying to, managed 3 weeks off or so.

Found my temper at work getting worse, so figured I needed play BF2 again - tis therapeutic !

 

Yeah, thanks for trying to make me feel better - but I found myself stuck on the 'select your infantry type and gun' screen - just looking blankly at it and thinking... err... what should I choose...

Ordinary BF2 tonight - karkand to start!

 

Interesting night last night. Great game on Karkand, then gave up with Wake, then had a couple of games. Two gold medals too

Shame the server crashed part way through though... still patch 1.4 is due, hopefully early August, fingers crossed.

 

I've decided to start accumulating Vet badges now... I've got my expert support one, so I'm not playing that for a while.

Got my Vet Assault over the weekend and I'm working on the Anti-Tank at the moment... closest I have come is 16 kills while A/T so I've still got some work to do!

 

One thing to note is that you have to of achieve X hours playing as X class, before you should try for 16 or 40+ kills in a round.

As it won't register the 'kills' prior to the hours being reached... hope that makes sense.

 

yup - saw that (but thanks for mentioning it) I have the requisite hours as A/T, so that's why I've picked it as the next one to try.

Got to say tho' that Special Forces is VERY mean when played right!!!!

Finally got my Heli ribbon (19 kills) last night - largely thanks to Laserman's flying

Was an interesting night, a few trouble makers on (not for long!)

As said elsewhere - Blunderbus and me made a great partnership last night - his flying was awesome and those guided missiles from the Bomber are unstoppable - thoroughly enjoyable even we did lose just about every game!

Hmm did not quite make it on as I had a new car to test drive last night

 

6 weeks of 112 k and now i'm back

As far as I'm aware (cant check our BF2 site from work) - looks like AF & EF map rotation tonight all

 

Good games last night - well except for:

- my inability to keep a heli airbourne
- my inability to surpress my 'potty mouth' when loosing
- my inability to stop laffin' like a mad man at times...

.. must remember not to drink so much before playing...

Ooooo yes.... that'll be the Euro force map when we were ruling the skies

He shot me down more times in that map than the whole of your team put together!!! If I was being chased by one of your fighters he would loose off four air to air missiles at them and naturally they would overshoot the target and home in on the next heat source... me. With the inevitable results.

It was really good fun tho' - and the communications between us was excellent (but not all the time... "stay low.. LOW NO LOOOOOOWWWWW" BANG!!!!) and my bombing was unusually accurate as well... for a VERY pleasant change (for me at least)

 

I'm sure I saw Sammy on tonight?
