put me off driving a bit as cant afford that kind of money along with PETROL going up & soon car tax up £100 extra for a fast car

 

Police might find it easier to control (if they decided to) if there are three groups. Not sure but might be better just to hit it all at once and hope for the best - in terms of traffic.

I don't mind sitting in a tunnel for 10-15 mins hearing all the reving and noise.

Just my two penneth - will go with whatever is decided.

i stopped on the bridge over looking the TOLLS (dartford bridge/tunnels) i took a pic was there about 10mins MAX, as i turned around copper was there , followed me down the M25 pulled me on the M25 told me i was DANGEROUSLY parked i said i didnt know, BUT hes attitude was "I AM THE LAW" every time i said mate he replied with "IM NOT YOUR MATE"told him about im the PHOTOGRAPHER for the club etc.etc..
he wasnt bothered, gave me the ticket & fine,
think he had BRANDED me becuase of my car & graphics

That's harsh mate ... was it traffic police? Sounds like it from his 'i'm the terminator' attitude!

He prob just got a bee in his bonnet from the car and then decided you were getting points whatever happened ... to55ers mate.

You should argue it though and take it as far as it will go. The thought of shed loads of paperwork and a possible court case may dissuade him to give you the points.

T123VOR .... you won't get any points from the night. Nobody really ever exceeds the speed limits - it's more just the noise in the tunnels we all go for. Police have left us alone for two years on the trot, even turned up at the last one to have a look at all the cars!

 

Cool. Thanks for the advice. This will be my first outing with you fellas (and ladies!) and although I am now living in Kent I am an Ilford boy by birth so hopefully that counts!!
If it's just about the noise I might ride shotgun anyway and take some pics/videos

Yeah, those are the ones. We congregate at about 8-30 and will head off at 9pm. Just so long as everyone understands that we are going to get broken up I can see no reason why we can't all leave at once.

The ones at the front can drive slow and let the ones at the back catch up.

The MOST important thing is to remember that this is NOT A RACE
Keep within the speed limits and make sure the road angels have been updated before you leave. Be courteous to other road users and don't block all the lanes. If you see a non-scoob behind you pull over and let it by.

Absolutely no burnouts or donuts in the Lakeside services and smile at the tunnel staff as they take another £1-00 off you for a tunnel that paid for itself decades ago.

Hopefully leaving it an hour later will mean the M25 will be a little quieter for us.

thurrock services is the 1st turning out the tunnel, go through 2 sets off lights, under the motorway, left towards thurrock, then left into services, THAT is where every1 is meeting???

Try it in a large car park first matey before doing what I was doing down the drag strip .. i.e mounting the wheels on the roundabout and donutting around it. It's bloody awesome when you get it nailed.
