Try turning up at Canary Wharf asking for site access with Scary Movie masks on. Nice to give the jobsworth security guards something to do instead of harassing people working late.

I'm very well thanks Sir Fozzy, thank you for asking! Hope all is well in camp Fozz for that matter.

New job and all that - rarely let me off the leash these days sadly, so my days of "45 Seconds, Tick Tock" are few and far between!

Will be seeing you at the Tunnell Run however - Gangsta has very kindly agreed to strap me to the top of his spoiler for the trip!

Default ESC flame the tourists

Right, here we go......... As Tiny says there's a slight difference this year. The closure of the Southbound Blackwall Tunnel still hampers us but we have found a compromise that we think you will be happy with..........a few bridges and an underpass.......

I think the title will need amending for this one.....we're....going to.....[breathe deep] flame the Queen!! Yup, were going up The Mall to Buckingham Palace

Everyone NEEDS to print off their own plan of the route, we can't possibly print off enough for everyone. Some will, of course, be available on the night free with every purchase of Tiny's raffle tickets

If anyone is REALLY unsure of the route (maybe not been to london before) then I have some A3 maps of the route printed off but, again, I cannot print off 50 sets of 4xA3 sheets. Let me know if you want one.

Be good, be courteous and DON'T speed thats not just us being goody two shoes, there are somany cameras you could lose your licence in an evening - you have been warned.

• Leave services @ 9.30 p.m. and join M25 towards Dartford Crossing.
• Through tolls and continue M25 to junction *1b* Princes Road Interchange.
• Leave via slip road, circumnavigate roundabout and re-join M25(A282) back towards crossing.
• Through tolls again and through Dartford tunnel.
• Exit M25(A282) at junction *30* (2nd exit after tunnel) and join A13 – London bound.
• Continue A13 – The leaders will need to keep the pace down a bit here to allow everyone to catch-up due to traffic lights at M25/A13 junction.

Looks like new cameras are ready to be installed along this stretch of the A13...watch out!

• Watch out for new speed cameras on A13 around Beckton/A406 junction.
(40mph on main stretch, 30mph in roadworks!)
• Stay in right-hand lane on A13 approaching the Canning town flyover, then move into left hand lane.
• Enter tunnel towards Isle-of-Dogs.[ASPEN WAY] No cameras AT PRESENT in this short tunnel. Subject to change!
• Take the first exit and re-group at the McDonalds in Trafalgar Way.

• Leave Mcdonalds and re-join ASPEN WAY following signs for The City
• Continue along Aspen Way, into Limehouse link (Watch out for 30mph cameras x 3 in tunnel, rumoured to be Specs type units too!!!!).
• Stay in left-hand lane towards end of tunnel.
• Go straight on at traffic lights. Leaders slow down along The Highway (A1203)
• As you approach Tower Bridge Keep in the left hand lane but DO NOT turn left onto the bridge!
• Keep the Tower of London to your left and follow the road.

• The first bridge we pass under is London Bridge, make some noise.
• Continue along Upper Thames Street and through the Blackfriars underpass
• Continue along Embankment (with the river to your left) under Waterloo Bridge

• Now it gets tricky, as you pass Cleopatra’s needle on the left and before you pass the next bridge (the 3rd) you need to get into the right hand lane.
• TURN RIGHT up Northumberland Avenue (for the Monopoly lovers!) Try and regroup as much as possible up to this point.
• You will then find yourself in Trafalgar Square. Keep in the left hand lane and take the 2nd exit through ADMIRALTY ARCH and up The Mall. You’ve guessed it…..were going to BUCKINGHAM PALACE..
• Turn left on the roundabout and take the Spur Road to BIRDCAGE WALK. Try and re-group but bear in mind the Police won’t want you parking in this sensitive area and royalty protection officers carry guns.
• Continue down Birdcage Walk into PARLIAMENT SQUARE. The leaders can do a lap of the roundabout, everyone else cross straight over and TURN LEFT just before the bridge and re-join Embankment. Re trace your route back to the Limehouse link.

• Continue back along Aspen Way (with Canary Wharf on the right) and exit to the left before the flyover. Turn right (4th exit) off the roundabout under the flyover and into McDonalds for a pit stop On exiting McDonalds, take the 3rd exit on main roundabout and stay in left hand lane to another roundabout with an Esso garage (NOT through tunnel!!!), take 2nd exit on roundabout towards A13.
• The Hardcore might want to go back to the Dartford Tunnels again for another couple of runs, if not then it’s the End of the Run

• Be careful, drive safely and within speed limits. No-one wants their evening ruined by getting 3 points. Flame the tourists……

Remember the toll charge is £1 each way so make sure you have some £1 coins to keep the flow fast through the Tunnels
Caution....There are loads Speed cameras on this route with limits including 20mph, 30mph, 40mph & 50mph! Keep your eyes peeled!!! (and the Origin/Road Angels updated ) You have been warned!

Don't want to put a dampner on your Mall section of the cruise but I the moment all our cars come towards trafalgar square the police will stop us from going anywhere close to the mall! I should know because I tried to do something similar with 8 cars a month ago and they followed us on the cameras from Tower Bridge right up to the Strand before they stopped us.

Might be worth a think on that one considering that we are talking about 40+ cars.

They are operating zero-tolerance at the moment. I've been stopped 5 times alone in the last month (including the night I just described)

I'm not saying don't do it ... I think it would be cool. Just don't want to see the evening hampered by Police. I got such a bollocking from the cops that stopped my lot.

Just think you should bear it in mind.

I have "CONTACT" somewhere very close to the roundabout at the top of the mall, I'll ask his opinion.

I don't mind contacting the feds and asking for permission, I think we would need a special licence or something. Something to do with the public order act.

I have an idea, the people who know where they are going can go straight along Embankment and turn right into parliament square up birdcage walk round the roundabout and back down again, some of us can go up northumberland avenue, turn left down whitehall and then turn right up bridcage walk etc, the others can try their luck with the feds.

3 groups will be difficult to control.

i think gangsta right we will have serious problems trying to go through the mall through birdcage walk and im sure they close the gates early, couldnt we just drive up through embankment and park along ambankment near bigben to regroup then drive around parliment square then every1 can make there way back from there?

In order to get the special permit to **park** in the Mall it generally takes a matter of months to obtain, and that's for one car (but does come in handy for the Xmas shopping trips ). So driving a convoy of scoobies down it will be nigh on impossible. I would literally be planning the 2006 cruise with the met now.

Question

I did mention previously that the Chelsea Cruise monthly meet will be on the southside of Chelsea bridge that night .....is it worth continuing on down there? Battersea Park gates are usually still open...........

That sounds like a distinct possibility, but if Battersea park is still open....

Definitely mate ... they will have us on camera and be watching from the moment we near Docklands. I'd make sure your car is as legal as possible so the chances of getting stopped are minimal.

The Chelsea Cruise usually parks up on the southside of Chelsea Bridge, opp the park gates by the burger stand. The motors park up along both sides of the bridge and a few on the pavement by the new housing complex - its all very civilised and sensible , probably because everyone is parked up and theres no engines running or sound systems belting out - none of the residents seem to mind even when the occasional motor decides to head off and burn rubber heading back across the bridge - can't recollect the police ever getting involved. A few meets back there were a dozen or so classic Crestas / Zodiacs turned up as well and they parked in the entrance to the park. It was just a thought in case we had no where else to go.............although 50 is obviously a different proposition!
