Good lad! You're more than just legal, if the worst were to happen -and I sincerely hope it doesn't- at least you're not going to be left with no car and no money. I paid about £2100 when I was 27 thanks to 0 NCB. It's a bitter pill to swallow, but bide your time, be sensible with the car and it'll soon come down to more reasonable levels!

No-one like shelling out loads for insurance, but the alternative to valid and comprehensive cover doesn't bare thinking about!
