Hi Maffa,


I think this rolling road day is better suited to modded cars, as mine is completly standard engine and exhaust wise, don`t know how much benefit I would get from it. so if you want to bounce me into reserves, so that all those with modded cars who would get more benefit from it then that would be fine.

maffa, what boost was you running before?
i'm pushing 1.5bar on a VF28. The last rolling raod run i had done was with 1.4bar on a TD04 and she pulled 280bhp (i've not seen many TD04's over that).
So i'm hoping to at least crack the 300 mark this time.

I was pushing 312BHP & 265lb/ft at approx 1.15bar on a TD05 & 380's with a ScoobyECU chip. Have since added the Apexi Power FC, AVC-R, headers, FMIC, FPR, 440's & it peaks at 1.4bar running 95% injector duty . Had to up the fuel pressure though as on standard fuel pressure they were at 95% at around 1.3bar.

I'm hoping for around 340BHP & I want the torque to be over the 300lb/ft but we'll have to see

Are you not running a FMIC? Do you not get det putting that much turbo pressure through without a bigger intercooler? Mine was prone to det at around 1.2bar on a standard MY95 STI intercooler.

Sounds like a good list of mods though You could be challenging me

Great news about the numbers, we usually start around 10ish and just trawl through them to utill they are all done, I think we may have some crossed wires regarding going back on the dyno, the entrants will only go on once as it takes a while to load them on, what we mean by more runs was we don't just do one quick run then throw you off we take our time and run the cars 3-5 times and give them a chance to get in the car while the car is run, great fun! Roller coaster mode we call it! If any of the entrants buy any bolt on goodies they can go back on again for free to see the benifits

Could you advise the runners to bring £42.56 plus vat =£50 each in cash it makes the day alot easier.
