Ive got episodes 1-12 on DVD, UK is so behind, its finishing in every other European country.

It's not a polar bear, that was their assumption as it was white. They didn't have time to carry out DNA tests to determine exactly what it was.

Think of it a different way. The turbines on a plane are balanced to very tight tolerances. Certainly tighter than those in a blueprinted car engine. If a bird flies through a turbine it will destroy it. This isn't because bird meat is tougher than steel it's because the balance of the rotating turbine is disrupted and it literally destroys itself. Now imagine the force of a couple of tons of turbine hitting the ground from a few thousand feet even. Would it throw anything out of balance you reckon?

There's no way the turbine would continue to turn after impact, it just couldn't, and that's the second time I've seen this phenomenon on screen in a month. War Of The Worlds anyone?
