Hi

Thats ok I'm kinda used to angry mails by now! Try not to let it get me down as I know how you guys are feeling and it makes me cross too!!!!

Anyway the good news is the shipment arrived today! And everyone who has bought and paid for one on ebay has one winging its way to them! You should have a mail in your ebay letting you know and I will be emailing again once city-link update their website with your tracking details.

Just want to say thanks to everyone who is waiting for either not sending me mean emails or if you did for being so understanding when I contacted you. I'm used to flying items over and if i'm honest this is the first time I have shipped and so kind of took what I was told by my supplier and shipping company and told you guys what I was told which wasn't quite what happened! A nightmare for both me and you in the long run!

Anyway I hope your happy with your item even though the wait was poo and there won't be any surprise charges in the post as we cover all import duties and vat I know some of you weren't sure if you would get stung.

Hopefully I'll get to hear some good news from you guys tomorrow. I'm off to start emailing your tracking numbers to you.

All the Best Jo

Any one fitted these to a pre 96 car?

What is fit like, and any extra noises?
Dump valve position?

How's the intercooler performance?

Thanks

Hybrid have a new more efficient design out now - GT Spec and seem to be selling off their older Monster stock.

When will the price go up, and to what?
As you know, I have no car at mo for it!!!
The price will be going up to £234.95 inc VAT in the next two weeks (from this Monday coming) thats inc VAT and delivery and import duties.

We can also offer you a GT spec IC unit as part of these kits but this is as an option and cost a little more , we are now an official retailer selling these kits for torque developments or squirrelboy as you may know em LOL

What discount for collecting off you in Widnes .. maybe a few items at your place would be a good idea?

Still awaiting your fitting prices?

The GT Spec core is the new style one from Hybrid ( probably amongst others ) and flows better, cools better. What sort of premium would we be looking at here Jimmy ?

Ta

At least once I get my car back and know the costs ...

Hello Joe (and everyone else)

Did some of you think I was a boy? Like a boy could ever be that loving to his customers when the majority would be blokes!

Maybe I should have my own name! Rabbitgirl456 or something what do ya reckon!

Trying to work out a fitting guide as lots of you guys are fitting them yourselves so anyone that is doing this and has worked it out already if you can help me out that would be great(or more importantly help each other out!). Unfortunately my pistons don't even go up and down let alone sideways, in fact I cant find them at all I own a rubbishy old rotary.

Hi all been talking with Jo at Torque today and we ve now got a price on upgrading these kits to the GT spec larger / and yet lighter im told , intercoolers - £38.50 inc VAT(TBC) on top of the special offer price of £219.99 ( soon to go up ) .
The GT spec comes mirror polished like the normal ones but is larger and rated to 600BHP !!! and gives 40% extra cooling over the usual FMIC set up !
Jo wil be posting pics up soon and clarifying any questions about the GT spec.

Hi Guys

Pic of the GT Spec intercooler below. Is tube and fin. There are 2 sizes available 600x300x76 (same size as standard kit) then the 600x300x100 (for cars over 600bhp this is ideal!)

It is a lighter cooler than the bar and plate and gives 40% more efficient cooling.

Speak to Jimmy about supply due to national hol my supplier won't be sending out till approx mid october so if your keen to get one you will need to pay to have it flown over but jimmy can sort that with you.

Ok can someone send me their email who knows how to host pics as my website isn't activated yet! pppweeeeeeese!

Jo

Since I've no car yet, I can wait a few weeks, and go for the GT spec upgrade with inclusive delivery!
How well do these fit on pre 1996 cars?

Fitted mine! Took most of the W/E/

A few issues - hose clips 'quite' tight in most places but nothing a bit of perseverance can't deal with. Had to split the hard pipe to the throttle body also as it ended up about 1 inch out. And there 'appears' to be a 63mm hose short from the kit - so you need to re-use the original TMIC throttle body hose - which works but 'aint ideal.

Quite a bit of body work fettling but the end result was well worth it -
Went out for a quick test run - spoolup about 400 rpm later but much stronger at the top end - car feels 'quite a bit' quicker....

Photos to follow maybe tomorrow - too tired to post 'em tonight!

I.as i am sure others who have ordered off jimmy will be concerned to learn he has been banned from posting on here due to him not being an authorised advertiser, however he has informed me he is in the process of becoming one and therefore his ban should be getting lifted in due cause..

Anyone who needs to contact him regarding a current order can contact him on nismojimmy@yahoo.co.uk
Hope this helps everyone concerned

that's a relief i've got a cheque here with his name on but was understandably worried about his ban. seems somewhat draconian but maybe we don't know the full story

is it worth going for the GT spec anybody know? aiming for 350+bhp.
