Aye, didn't really see that coming, he had a fair game on saturday. Could be just as well tho, might have ended up as another Pistone.

Souness will probably be sacked by the end of september. Please.

Chopra is now Injured.......

Owen has said if Manu or Liverpool do not come in for him he will have talks with Newcastle.

And Milan have said they will let us have Coco and they will still pay his wages as they say once we see him play we will buy him.

Linked back with Nicolas Anelka again, could be a good call if we get him considering our current lack in the proven striker department

Supposedly we're no longer going for anelka, fernebache want £8 million for him, nearly £4 mil more than they paid in the new year. Rumour has it Owen's goin back to Liverpool on loan for the season even tho benitez doesn't want him. Where's the money we had for Rooney gone, if as it seems in the paper, we're having to sell JJ to finance a move for players???

in fat freds and douglas halls pockets like previous directors, there just a couple of playboys milking the club. they still think the fans are mugs dont forget what they said to the under cover reporters from the news of the world.

Thumbs down

TBH I don't know why Souness is getting all the blame (or was until people are starting to realise who the main problem at the club is), he's far from perfect granted and his man management skills leave a lot to be desired aswell as some questionable tactics, decisions and making the clubs (bad) business public, but we either have to get behind him and give him a chance or everyone should give up all together.

WHO BETTER IS GONNA WANT TO MANAGE NUFC AND PERFORM A MIRACLE THAT WE ALL WANT/EXPECT!?

I don't believe for one minute that Souness lead the clear out without planning for replacements and giving a list of players to Fat Freddie, it's him that's **** farted about, he's been sitting with his finger up his **** doing nothing then appearing desperate with signings what does he expect? He's always had too much of a say in the team/signings, never shuts his big fat gob and the way he treat Sir Bob was disgracefull

You never hear Steve Gibson commenting in the press every other day or revealing transfer rumours etc he actually realises that all press is BAD press and that keeping info/targets/opinions within the club is an advantage.

NUFC have been the biggest joke in English Football for far too long now...

FAT FREDDIE AND HIS GOONS OUT!!! (he can take that **** stirrer Alan Oliver from the Ronnie Gill with him too).

Thats the thing, there is nobody that stands out not unless we go on the poach

First home game tomorrow, if things go wrong I reckon many a person will be after Souness' blood.

Personally I'll go to work in the morning, meet my mates, go to the match then have a drunken rant about it all whether we win or lose.
It's the LAW

I'll watch goals on sunday and have a rant about it. Then have a very drunken rant about it on sunday night

Doubt we'll actually get any new signings in before the transfer window closes, too many headless chickens running the club. Where i work is ran like a bag of ****, but even fat fred could learn a thing or two from my gaffer.

Don't think it'll be long before Souness is out of a job, he's got at least until the end of the month.

Your'e right Mike, looking from the outside in as it were your clubs problems do start at the top with FFS, does anyone at the club or even in the toon have any respect for this weasel??, how is he percieved these days?

You have a squad of over paid Prima Donnas a control freak a psycho and championship fodder and a manager who you all believe to be ****e, but to be honest it really looks like he's not getting the support from the board or his players so he shouldn't take the blame for all of this IMHO. I feel for you guys it's a bloody poor way to run a club.

Latest news is that we've agreed a club record fee with Real Madrid for Owen. He's unlikely to come tho as it seems he'd prefer to go back to liverpool - only interested in a season's loan move to the toon if liverpool don't come in for him.http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page...703883,00.html

Owen must be soft in the head.

I really want to play for Liverpool - but if they wont have me I suppose Newcastle will do (provided it's only for a year).

I Wouldn't touch him with a barge-pole with that attitude !

It's another case of the board clutching at straws. Been knocked back by everyone so far. All it will serve to do is Liverpool will pull their fingers out their ares and sign him, a'la Rooney to Man U last season. Wholesale clearout and no one to replace those gone is no way to run a club.

Who has knocked us back? Most of the players have wanted to sign for us, it's the inflated transfer fees that we haven't been willing to pay.

Look how much money that was wasted on Viana and Robert, we cannot afford to do that again.
