Speedo accuracy is tested, so Im afraid that you cant simply fit the speedometer face. Doing it the way that I suggested solves all of the problems as 112mph was the designed top speed; because Subaru didnt make a non-restricted 260PS WRX its impossible to answer the question after youve removed the limiter.

When i filled the form in, i put down 148mph and left the original speedo face on with just the k covered, so it read m/h.

I can't believe the fact i had my impreza for 20 months..and i never had a tea leaf try to pinch the thing. i hope this is the first and last set back that you have with the car mate.

i do read your mag on and off but wasn't aware you had married Sona. i do recall the 5 turbo she had...that was nice good luck with the impreza anyway..and hopefully you will catch the pikey gits that tried to have it off and give them a nice bunch of fives

The only faces I have are the original 180 km/h ones but I blacked the 'k' out so now it just says m/h.

On a slightly different subject, the ESVA will have to be delayed as some wnakers tried to nick it last night...

The people who live opposite woke up to the sound of the theft in progress at 4am this morning.

The thieves were so clever they'd rolled the WRX out into the road, blocking their escape route! So they had to drive through my garden and they hit the XR2 on their way out! Car they were using was found burning 10 minutes later...

How's this for irony: it was booked in for an MoT today. I'd taken it to the test centre last night and the guy said he's have to leave it outside over night "we've never had any problems but I need to tell you it will be at your risk". I said it would be 'safer' on my drive and took it home...!

For the cherry on the cake they wrecked the brand new Kenwood D-Mask CD player - despite the face plate and mask key not being with the unit...

Anyone got and cheap parts for sale?
Looking for:
steering column
plastic lower steering surround
plastic surround panel to headunit/gear gaiter
clear plastic face to speedo/clocks - how they managed to crack that I don't know!
What a bloody shame mate, try this guy, I know he has the parts you are looking for nblyth70@hotmail.com

As an importer of many years myself, I would have agreed with GC8 a few months ago, however over the last few months I have been unable to sell as many quality cars due to the impact of the dock side auctions, rechecked them out again this week to find plenty 1995 cars at only £3000!

The auctions are not doing that well at the moment which has resulted in them having to shift old stock at vey low prices.

In honesty; I havent looked for a long time, but the same people are still running them.....)once a crook always a crook). I doubt that you can find an oil change sticker or an original appriasal in any of the cars
