You could have requested an inhaler thus reminding the GP of your Son's requirements.

When you look at the costs involved for treatment you will understand that what we do pay towards the nhs doesn't equate anywhere near the final bill for our treatment.
Actually i did request an inhaler from the doctor, but he refused to perscribe one until my son had an assesment for asthma, he told me i would need to make an another app for this, which i did.

Your posts show very clearly you are very angry at the medical profession. Why can't people have an opinion about Doctors? As stated previously, if you buy a TV and it doesnt work you complain, if you recieve a carp servcie from a bank, what do you do ? complain...As I and others have said.. it's peoples lives..we have a right to be angry.

You never explained what you meant 'by my sort' Please be kind enough to elaborate.. your sort ??

'As for the high and mighty who like to slag off and make (mis) diagnoses I have simply this to say to you. You fall into one of two categories

1) You were too stupid/lazy at school to be a Dr.

2) You were clever/able enough but decided to do something more lucrative and comfortable where you did'nt spend half your life in a zombie like state after working a 100 hours a week.

Either way, p1ss off '

juding by your comments, the rest of us are the lowest of the low, no matter who we are, what we do, where we come from.

My profession maybe flawed but you never told us what worthy and unflawed job you do. I would genuinely be interested to know. I'm sure you'd be proud to tell us all. Why should it matter what I do? I could be a lawyer, a dustman, a street cleaner.. but it doesnt enter into it. I'm not the one making huge statements about how great the industry is that I work in. Your situation is different..once again ( just in case your head is stuck too far up your a*se to notice) OUR LIVES IN YOUR HANDS.

Jods. I think you misuderstood my post. In retrospect I probably should'nt have made it. Not my finest hour, however someone here was basically accusing me of being the next Harold Shipman so I reacted. I think you may be reading into things - at what point did I accuse you of being the next shipman..? I believe my statement was..'People have the right to complain. If a doctor is not doing his job properly then he shouldnt be allowed to do it at all. There are exceptionally bad ROTTEN apples in the medical profession..take Shipman for an example or are you saying he was innocent?'
Don't try and twist things to put yourself in a better light. But thank you for making the comment you made - it just proved my point.. It shows just what a caring person you are, and backs ups my feelings of pity for your patients and their relatives.

ps ging, please feel free to call me Deep, if not then its Dr Singh not Mr Singh
TBH, I would prefer not to call you anything and it's Ginge... HTH.
Blah blah blah. How does your husband/boyfriend/girlfriend put up with you??

Never made huge statements about how great my profession was actually. You described it as being 'flawed'. Read the posts

As always you talk lots and say little of substance

Still have'nt told us what unflawed job/profession you do. I never said it mattered whether you collect refuse or a high court judge. Just interested to see if your so called concern for other people translates into any thing that you do in life. Why d'ont you answer??
How can you say what you do does'nt come into it. I think it would help to put things into perspective about your opinion.

You may feel sorry for my patients but I feel sorry for anybody who knows you or has to listen to your nonsense.

What really speaks volumes is the way you have drawn a conveniant little picture of me based on an internet conversation. I presume this is what you do in life in general as it makes it easier for you to cope with complex issues

Pathetic comment from a pathetic individual

If it makes it easier for your little mind to deal with a complex issues then yes I am a **** bottle cleaner.

ps nobody cleans '**** bottles' anymore they are all disposable. I did used to clean them when I did voluntary work in hospitals as a teenager. I wonder what you were doing at the time. ? Something equally as helpful no doubt?

For the last time ( because your head is obviously sooooo far up your **** you will need one of your dead clever surgeon friends to assist you in it's removal - but be careful they don't **** up)..

The discussion revolves around the medical profession. What I do for a living does not enter into this topic of conversation ; however, I will say that it is not a flawless one - none are ( which i belive was mention at some earlier post); however for the final time....(cause to be honest this really is boring me and obviously the other SN users)..

IT IS PEOPLES LIVES IN YOUR HANDS. THATS A HUMAN EXISTANCE AT STAKE AND WE ARE PUTTING OUR FAITH AND TRUST INTO YOUR HANDS. WE HAVE A RIGHT TO COMPLAIN/COMMENT - JUST AS YOU WOULD IF ANYTHING WENT WRONG IN YOUR LIFE.

PEOPLE WHO PAY NI, ARE PAYING INTO THE POT WHICH AT THE END OF THE DAY PAYS DOCTORS WAGES. SEEING THINGS GO MAJORLY WRONG TO THE POINT THAT PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING & DYING AS A RESULT OF SOME ( PLEASE NOTE THE WORD SOME) DOCTORS PURE AND UTTER INCOMPETENCE, AND LACK OF CARE, PEOPLE UNDERSTANDABLY AND QUITE RIGHTLY GET FRUSTRATED AND ANNOYED.

CAN YOU NOT SEE THAT PEOPLE ARE GOING TO KICK OFF AT THIS TYPE OF THING? DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD JUST LET INSTANCES WHEN THINGS GO WRONG PASS WITHOUT COMMENT? WHY THE HELL SHOULD WE WHEN ITS OUR LOVED ONES, FRIENDS AND FAMILY SUFFERING CAUSE PEOPLE CANNOT AND WILL NOT DO THE JOB THEY GET PAID WELL FOR, PROPERLY.

We are not going to agree on this and we are not going to get any further on this subject so just back off ok?

I agree with all of that. I d'ont want to be treated by a Dr that falls below the standard. I get sick too you know, so we do agree.

Now answer the question!

The BMA is actually the Drs trade union. It is there to protect Drs working conditions etc and give opinions on the health service in general. It does not police Drs.

The GMC is there to protect the public. So I presume thats want you meant

For someone who talks lots you know very little. I'm happy to contine correcting you though.

If you honestly think the GMC is interested about a conversation on Scoobynet you are even more detached from reality than I thought. If it was'nt so stupid it would be funny

Are you going to answer the question now??

You need to lighten up a bit.. joke...which in case you arent sure means..
  1. Something not to be taken seriously; a triviality: be facetious.
If you are so clever, and had to go through years of schooling to get where you are, what don't you understand about the word NO? It's only 2 little letters, but is a refusal.

Please understand I am not going there for the reasons I have already stated a number of times.. Engage your brain.

I've watched this develop over the last few days, and see a doctor on one side who is clearly proud of his profession and achievements, and someone who just doesn't like doctors on the other.

Sorry to say it LG, but it strikes me that you're causing more of the trouble. Threatening someone with the BMA? Honestly, get a grip on yourself.

oh yet another one who doesnt read post properly...

look again moossey..at the one above yours.. JOKE...it even has a definition in case you don't get it.

I'm not causing trouble..this is an open forum, people post opinions not everyone agrees with what is posted and comments back.. fact?

If you read what has been put in the last 9 or so pages you will see the whole picture..and will note that it is SOME doctors we are talking about NOT all..

what is it about the word some that you & Deep Singh do not understand?

Ging

After all the things you've said ie I should be struck off, the BMA should be informed, you feel sorry for my patients, I have no bedside manner, you would'nt wipe your feet on me etc etc etc. (all cleverly deduced from internet posts) I d'ont think its unreasonable to ask what you do.

Its not about money or status ( as I have little of the former and the latter is diminishing). Its about whether people like you actually do anything yourself for the greater good ( or at least try) or whether you just talk loudly.

I d'ont think thats unreasonable

So what do you do?
