Everybody needs to fight each alleged speeding offence, even the first one, get the evidence and exercise their legal right for the courts to prove the offence.

In a recent case it was shown that *ALL* Norfolk NIPs were invalid http://pepipoo.com/NewForums2/viewto...?p=53738#53738

Its harsh if you've never ever knowingly sped in your driving life, but if (like many) you regularly push the boundaries and this once you've been caught, then the best thing to do is sign the nip, submit license and pay the fine...
There are some websites with things like comedy letters to send to the court (written by saddo's who got stung and cant face the consequences) and there's loads of decent folk on scoobynet not adult enough to take their punishment for breaking the law as these kinda threads and links to pepidump occur with great regularity...
There are though one or two where a speed sign was hidden by bushes who have a fair point - but by enlarge IMO this country is full of folk who cant own up to their misdemeanours and I find that truly feeble...
I hope you make the right choice for you

Theres also been a few serious accidents on the junction there were people used to fly off the doxyford roundabout and cars crossing the carriageway misjudged the speed and got t-boned. Also used to get a lot of cars crashing into the barrier just off the roundabout (do remember seeing the ferrari parked on top of the armco?? lol Someone had fun on there test drive) until they finally recovered that stretch in that rough yellowy stuff.
I do find it very hard to keep at 50 on there while EVERY one else zooms past as it feels so slow in the scooby.

As for speed it's very very hard in a scoob, it was a bright sunny day the day i got nabbed, had my mate in the car as well so probably talking too much to notice any vans, but never mind i'll know next time
So i take it ya from around those parts, any where i know and what do ya drive i'll look out for ya. Do you go to the TTS meets?

Dont get to any meets, mainly because ive only had the car about 5 weeks and been too busy with work. I drive a blue 02 sti prodrive. Not many of them around from what ive seen so should spot me easy enough? What do you have and i'll flash if i spy you

same as my user name wrx uk300, should try and get to a meet, first Tues of every month at the Dunn Cow Burnmoor, i never made the last meet, but hubby was there round about 35 cars turned up. If you look in the Northern section tells you all about it. Hope to see you there sometime

I suppose in all honesty that if you habitually exceed the speed limit as you say, then you have to accept that you will eventually get caught. Its just an unescapable fact of life.
Probably best as someone said to accept it and pay up. Doubt you can find a way to get away with it. Dont think your association with the copper will help either.
