Thanks for the comments

the NBO 4 planning has allready started

One area that we are going to develop even further is the club stands with 6 clubs showing this year it was more popular then we thought

The standard and planning that the LADS, WYIOC, Cumbrian scoobs, TTS, CADS, Midlands and RB5 club was very high and a tough decision had to be made on selecting the LADS as the eventual winner .

Next year it will be WAR for the best stand !!!

there will be lots more space for them and there will be a recruitment drive to get more suppliers although with 50 letters wrote again im not sure on responce but we will look at different car acc lines although not down the Max-power route !!

we are going to look at the car of the day competion that started out as a bit of fun 3 years ago and has really turned into a fierce competion with the judges picking 10 then 5 then down to the final 3

It took 5 men over 2 hours to select the final 3 .

we are going to get the crane back next year for some ariel shots .

we are still not sure wheather to go the show and shine route of the RS boys as yet but are looking at a special section for the competion entrys as so many cars did not bother reading the instruction sheet and displaying their details on their windscreen so they could not be judged ,

we are looking at addional ways of raising money for charity as well on the day .

keep the suggestions coming .

Hi everyone

Glenn from Revolution here, can I also say thanks to all the organisers for a cracking event, including Martins blow up (friend) doll.

We've attended the show since year one and supported it in various ways but it's the first year that we've had a stand and the response was excellent.

But I will follow on from Rich's (Jap Innovation) comments by saying it's very difficult to decide on what to take to an event, as whatever you leave behind you will always get asked for. Also he's correct in mentioning the costs involved as even on a small event like this it does eat into the margins and we didn't make any profit from the event - did you see how much my guys ate on the day, wouldn't mind shares in the burger van!!!!

However, it's a great PR event and even good to meet up with customers old and new and a relaxed chat about scoobs, as most of you will know I get very little time to do it thru' the working week.

Again if anyone has any suggestions on what they want us traders to take please tell us all and hopefully we can get the balance right.
We did try and to do special offers on the day and hopefully that helped the members out a bit and for all who don't know we already offer discounts for TTS, Cumbrian Scoobs, SIDC members as well as other area clubs when approached officially.

We do try and support the Subaru Clubs in the UK and abroad as we feel shows like the NBO are a genuine alternative to the Max Power and other events as a lot of people are either not into that scene or "a little old" or should I say mature for that type of show.

So we'll be attending next year and thanks to all who stopped to chat & shop..........and roll on NBO4!!!!!!

If I can just comment on Glenn's post, I bought some shiny bits from your stand but I also saw a lot more that I fancied (not just on the Revolution stand) and will be ordering these as cashflow allows. So even although sales might not have been overwhelming on the day a few seeds will have been sown....

Returning messages with information to help people promote the event for next time is always a good idea

I did phone the crane guy a couple of times but with no success. Hopefully, next year I'll be a little more organised and get him booked months before.

It's such a shame that you feel this way. I always find that the majority of people are very friendly at all the events I attend however you will always get the small cliques who are not very friendly. These people will only talk to people in their 'clique ' and mostly ignore others.

I speak to most people at events so you could always come find me if you want to talk to someone who is friendly

i think you might find that the unfriendly welcome you recieved, might have something to do with the way you treat people yourself.....going by how you are to people on SN, i would say that you got the welcome you deserved

i'd be careful at the NBO, you may find that there are some Snetters there that you have recently upset HTH

No problem with that,as I'm sure other people might have issues with her, but for people that are fairly new to here, like myself, they might see it as off putting. Top day out is the NBO, you should come next year if you can make it.
