Guy next door had got one and a few pea-hens and they had decided to go walkabout. He came and got it back so I showed him the psycho dog telling him next time the peacock escaped it would probably be returned as a hat.

Seem to remember one of those Two Fat Ladies programs, there was something rustling around in her vegatable patch, she thought it was a pheasant and blew it away with a 12 bore
Turned out it was the neighbours peacock. She invited them round for dinner and apologised for killing it after they had eaten it
