Seems very simple to me... if you want to play racing driver, do it on the track NOT on the public road.

Intimidating boy racers only exacerbates any situation. Back off and leave them well alone.

IMHO

Problem I find is that there seem to be hoards of people who want to have a go at racing impreza's. The desire bears no resemblence to performance either - I've had wheezy little polo's behaving like maniacs on my tail!

All the publicity about the performance has meant that we've lost our 'stealthy' status.

I will take this opportunity to remind all our readers that the purpose of the headlamp washers is to squirt water all over the windscreen of any vehicle unsuitably close behind you.

It works for me and cannot be taken as a retaliatory gesture, what washing me headlights?

After all I didn't know it did that until I tried it!

The headlamp washer thing does indeed work well. At motorway speeds the spray nicely avoids your own windscreen too. I'd imagine the tailgater is often confused about where the spray came from (as you don't have to use your wipers).
