That'll be the one then knew it had a 2 in it!
Sounds like a PITA to do gearbox and diffs, anyone know any local garages that they trust with their car? H/brakes shoes apparantly can be a git.

I've been recomended 75/90 fully synthetic for g/box and front/middle diff, but 80/90 for rear diff.

Iv'e used Martin Clifford on Armstrong street in Grimsby in the past he does a decent job.

He runs the local car club so he's an enthusiast. He was looking after half a dozen Scoobs at one point.

What are you doing to the gearbox etc?

If it is just a fluid change then the gearbox is easy to do yourself, I did mine a couple of months ago on my front.

Just a drain and fill, a few peeps have said you need a gun to fill the diffs, and g/box is filled from the dipstick apeture by the turbo,? is that correct?
for h/brake shoes, sum said 'easy' others say PITA.

need oil and filter doing but thats easy enough, hopefully i'll have some graphics to put on too 'Team Monkfish Racing'

Yes fella,

Fill the gearbox via the dipstick tube, I've got an oil filler you could borrow.

Just drop the old oil and over fill the gearbox dipstick by 3mm.

If a gun is needed for the rear diff then it will be because it is filled near the top of the diff, on the evo's they use a "Toilet Duck" plastic bottle and a length of rubber hose to fill it/ squeeze it in.

Should't be too hard then as long as plugs come out easy, they're a funny shape aren't they, like a square key(can't remember tho), do they need washers like oil sump?

Evening Ladies,

I will be late getting down tonight as the missus is not back from staying with her sister.

If I'm not down by the time you shoot off for a coffee then give me a bell, I will probably be on my way.
