If I had the money I would have this turbo. Having 1bar of boost well before 3k would make a really nice fast road car, easily capable of feeling faster than one with a bigger but laggy turbo.

Dave.

Hello Brad, right, i`m interested, DaveW (hiya Dave) was thinking i wouldn`t need to get any oil/water pipes as i can use the ones off the VF28 i already have, do you know for sure if this is the case?

cheers

Ab

Thumbs up

sorry dude-
Basically I am using the pipes myself, and you will need to pick up some pipework as shown in this pic:

Failing that; plenty of info on sources here

Brad,

I thought that the pipe work from any IHI VF2x turbo will fit? So Abby (Hi mate) would need to remove the pipe work from his current VF28, but basically a straight swap with a re-map.

Dave.

Danny, just some form of mapable ECU, like an Apexi PFC or Possum Link, to start off with and then take it from there. Although a set of 440cc injectors at the very least would be a good idea, along with an uprated fuel pump (Walbro) and adjustable fuel pressure reg (FSE).

I ran this Turbo's twin for a few years on my own car (MY98 UK) and it was stunning...as Brad knows It originally went on the car with an H&S open neck down pipe, HKS Hiper exhaust, a set of 440cc injectors, my own induction kit and a Link ECU and it really was the ideal TD04 (standard turbo) repalcement for my needs.
