Dave. Need to ensure that the club stand attendees set off from the TP at between 8 & 8:15 as Lord H needs us there for 9:15 ish....
So the list will be minus a few early starters
Namely Me, Mark, Phil & Steve Chaps. Daz meston will also be setting off from there..
What's the best route up?

OR keep on old A1 upto Dishforth then country road (abit of fast twisty stuff) in to top end of Ripon & then A6108,
I,ve been both ways on my work deliveries, both are ok roads.
Just an idea,
Mark
PS may be able to borrow a few 2 way radios if needed, let my know.
Mark.. either route looks great.. The two way radios will be a godsend for the larger convoy later.. how many have you go to share netween the two?
Phil -
Yep, you and Steve are definately on.. I confirmed it with Lord Harding this evening..
We'll post the start off point later this week.. How's the BBQ coming along? Will it for in the boot?

Not looking as good as last year
With 28 cars confirmed, plus however many come from Hull, but without some of the WYIOC who are going early I can't see this years convoy being as big as last
WASOCS have abandoned us this year, and SMACS don't seem interested
Maybe Al could turn on the charm with just a week to go

I'm liasing with ethanrob who is having some difficulty getting people to commit. Apparantly the Chesterfield guys don't use SNet much anymore. I think it will all fall into place this week, but interest seems down overall on last year

Craig, I guess the best option for you would be to wait somewhere aound J.47 and we can ring you as we pass at approximately 10:30-10:45am. PM me your mobile number. I'll pop you on the list.
Are there plans for catering wagons to be there? When we went 2 years ago it was scorching with nowhere to get a drink or owt to eat.
Also are there trade stands etc?
Sorry for my naivety but i haven't followed the planning for this at all due to other issues.

stevey, I'll add you now, whoever you are

Paul, I seem to recall there being some catering last year, but it might have been inside the theme park. We're gonna be having a BBQ anyway, so just bring some sausages and burgers and a bottle of something to drink.

...and a coolbox for the car if the weather's as per the previous two years
I'm sure it took over a year from the first NBO for the sunburn marks to go off my feet with wearing desert-wellies all day
(and no, it wasn't muck before anybody mentions it

I did a bit of videoing from there last year and it's a decent vantage point as you can see / hear them coming from about a mile away.

I will however, be accompanied by a crate (or two) of that stuff the Danes hate to see leave their country, as I believe it's still on offer at t'asda. Should chill nicely in the fridge over the course of Thursday / Friday / Saturday, and the half dozen or so I pop in the freezer last thing Sat night should help keep the temp down through the day, providing they don't pop!!!
it could have been Babycham...

presumably, he's not "Des" and you've roped some poor unsuspecting soul into getting him home in one piece
Edited to add that I was gatecrashed by Al - the message was supposed to follow Steff's etc
