Most new cars have a 3 yr warranty so if it's under 3 yrs old you have the warranty to fall back on. If over 3 yrs then make sure you check & test drive.

FQ400's cack anyway.
Nasty Nasty interior. "Ah" you say "You're not paying for the interior on a car like this"
Well no, but I could buy a Evo6 and get it to 400BHP for a damn sight less than £47K and have money to fix it if it went wrong

Went to see it last night and got it for a fair price.
Lovely example with major servicing getting done and brake pads before collection. 1 years tax and mot. New alloys/tyres. Still has some warrantee remaining.
Black with Red Leather.
Didnt test drive it myself, but may well do before handing over the readies
Well chuffed

Regarding TP insurance not being enough, can't you get some sort of paperwork made up signed by both parties "if you crash it you buy it", on top of proof of TP.
When I sold my wagon, I had a few enquiries and I always made a point before the viewer came over, that they can test drive as long as I am in the car and they have proof of TP insurance. The guy that bought it was fine with that, told me he didn't have insurance - but bought it on the back of me driving him around.
