Perky555,

This is legendary stuff! and you have exceedingly large conkers to cut up a two door mk1! mind you, yes, she's a little crusty, so better that than in the crusher!

This is an awesome project, I'll be checking back for regular updates!

Kinda reminds me of a guy who fitted a Morris minor two door shell onto an S13 200SX chassis/running gear/engine, not sure if that's finished actually!

Epic! keep up the supreme work!

As exciting as this project is, I dont think there will be a cat in hells chance of getting it MSA logbooked for stage rallies due to the new "K37" technical ruling. Apart from floorpan and bulkhead modifications, it mainly falls foul of the rule that precludes 4wd conversions on a 2wd car, also I dont think a turbocharger is elligible on a car that never had a turbo fitted when in production. It will be OK for sprints and hillclimbs though as a modified production car.

Great project though all the same.

Martin

Aint updated i ages but to be honest aint really done alot. The floorpan is now shortend, and more stuff has been stripped of it.

But since then i have bought a 205gti trackcar so have been spending most my sparetime tinkering with that, setting it up for hillclimbs and road rallys.

And then theres my new Megane R26 F1 ive been playing in alot too..

Will try and do somemore soon i promise

Sounds like you need to donate some of your money to me and stop playing about with new toys!

Gutted to sell this but i just couldnt find the time to spend on it that i would of liked. Ive had 2 kids since starting this so just aint got the time anymore, other toys also keep getting priority too like the Mk1 Rs2000 ive just got. I'll put a thread up with the resto of that if you guys are interested?
