I just feel that its is beyond the pale to make such jokes with respect to a great leader when the bloke has not even been buried yet!
Anyway, the pope didn't respect my views, did some wrong things (see other posts above on women, aids etc.) and he himself probably wouldn't give a toss if I died. I wouldn't care if he(or anyone else) made some jokes (as long as they were gooduns
) after my passing. If a bit of humour came out of it, I'd be happy.

A successor?
Far be it for me to partake in any percieved bad taste........ but my brother has just asked me if the next pope will be someone called George Andringo.....

Sorry if this offends anyone, it is a play on words and not a direct attack on Catholicism.
I would never direct any attack on a specific religion when I think they are all a collective obsessive compulsive disorder, I will as always continue to bark at the moon for my kicks.
Does the Roman Cathlolic church have an equivalent of a Fatwa byt the way ?

I'm sure the Pope and the Almighty have a sense of humour. (Considering "God made man in his own image" he must do!) That's what puts me right off going to church - no one seems to have fun - went to a carol service last year and everyone was as miserable as sin - and that was at a so called 'lively' church. 
I mean, fair enough on Good Friday - but Christmas?? How can you sing all those carols and not be happy?????
