I am interested, but if I buy a clutch and flywheel, would I be able to transfer them both to a 6 speed in the future?

Reading the thread you cannot put this clutch on a 6spd flywheel, but can a 5spd flywheel fit a 6spd?

Hi, if you're talking about putting a 6 speed in a classic then yes this kit will fit. Where it might cause a problem is trying to put it into a STi 6 speed car of 2001 onwards where the clutch uses the castellated flywheel.

Buy one ! you know it makes sense..

Thats my plan

I have a 95 STI RA, about to run around 320+ Lbft, but when funds allow, a bigger turbo and PAR gearset (or 6 speed with DCCD) - more torque than the current gearset/clutch can take anyway.

I'm thinking of buying the cluch and flywheel and fitting it when my current clutch gives up. IF my clutch holds for, say 6 months I won't have the exchange flywheel available until then. Would that be a problem?

No shouldn't be a problem, as long as we get it back eventually.
