So, i will be alright not bothering with the reg and just doing the pump?
Any thoughts on the STi top mount?
I think i'm gonna hold fire and only get the turbo fitted when the remap is booked

Do i get the impression that we don't like the STi VI i/c idea?
Ok - how about an STi 8 i/c? How difficult, how much and where from

Personally would fit a STi8 I/C. Not too hard to fit and around £250-£350 to buy 2nd hand.

You could get away with a STi5/6 i/c for low 300s but its nice to be on the safe side.

***Update***
Done bugger all and the VF35 is making a nice paper weight
Had a busy few months financially with holidays, weddings and my almost retro fitted Air con
Anyway - time to start looking at all this again.
At this present moment in time this is how i'm thinking:
Fuel pump,
STi V6 i/c (just for that touch more safety),
STi 7 type Scoop,
fit the VF35,
map the above to suit.

Any holes in my plan?

.......oh yeah the biggest hole in my plan goes by the name of Fuzz.
Just looked through his fantastic projects thread on 22B.com - 400 sounds sooooo much cooler than 300

400 sounds so much more expensive than 300...

VF35+decat+pump+STI7/8TMIC and tweaks = 333bhp. No need for the reg or 6 speed just yet. There was a project somewhere that did just this

PS that particular 400 cost more than you think!

The value/fun/low lag/fairly reliable/sensible/balanced level is where Floyd is at IMHO.
