Doh! You must have posted that whilst I was posting on the Northern thread

If you want to join us on the drive around the North York Moors you will need to get to the eastern end of the M62 at about 11:15 on Saturday morning. Otherwise we should be at the campsite about tea time.
Any other options or info, give me a call

There is a services on the eastbound carriageway of the A63 (which is what the road is called after it ceases to be the M62). We will be having a stop there to split into smaller groups for the run up to the NYM.

I've not been there yet or finalised the route but hopefully I can sort that out soon.

Yup It shouldn't take long to blat across the M62 from your end?

I have rationalised the route but the schedule still looks to be fairly tight according to Autoroute, so I might have to go and time it this weekend

I wouldn't put the destination in until we are finished up on the moors otherwise it will be barking at you all day to go the other way

I have TomTom on my PDA but I only usually use it to find the nearest Shell station when I'm running low I prefer to use Memory Map so I can see where I'm going and record where I've been.

Oh dear mark, you might want to take out a bank loan!

The route from Tibshelf Services is 227 miles! (We aren't going straight up)

If you would rather meet us at the campsite (about 17:15 ) that's fine, just let us know

MarkW I'd guess Boomer will meet you at Bassets Pole at around 09:30ish, leaving there at 09:45 to get up to Tibshelf in time to meet the other midlanders?

Boomer?

cw42: Just thought of another option, if you join us for the morning drive to the NYM than you can go your own way in the afternoon and meet us at the campsite? That way you can visit some of the more touristy bits with the family and make it less of a 'long drive' Same goes for anyone else really! You don't have to follow me
