blackjax code needs to be entered every time the drivers door is opened, that includes 1st start up so if some scumbag breakes into your house and steels you keys he wont get far without the code. i have one on my car it can be a pain but i know the car is safe well worth the money imho

I just booked mine too! Have decided to go for the pressure switch version. Since the choice of location is mine I will just put it in a really awkward place and hopefully stop those naughty people getting away with my car!

Stupid Question:

What happens when something goes wrong and you are unable to drive your car due to the device fitted?

I am also intrested, so will have made up my mind my the morning..

Once you car is immobilsed it will remain that way without your pin. Should you forget your pin for example -You will need a clifford specialist to come out to you and either remove the unit or fit a new one.

Just had mine done at Motorguard, nice chaps, very helpful, they had it done by the time I got back from McDonalds

They took the time to show me the best places to fit it and how it all worked and how to program a new pin number.

All very professional

P.S. And they had some niiice ICE for sale as well
