Most suppliers will try and push you down the Ecutek route because theres a lot more money to be made, the software will then ignore the 'cat efficiency below threshold error'.
It's not a diy job to fit the device unless you're good with a soldering iron and reading small circuit diagrams. (Triton would be best bet).
My 01 Bug PPP went from 245ish to 275bhp-265lb/ft with full de-cat, including the up-pipe that also has a small cat in it and the turbo came in about 750rpm earlier.
You'll prolly find your car starts to chew up EGT sensors reguarly with a full de-cat as the temperatures in the up-pipe increase without the cat.
And get a knock-link and boost guage, very important.
Obviously kiss goodbye to any remaing warranty you may have.

lol Mark.
Modding cars is so 'chav'

Actually I'm waiting for Blitz to pull their fingers from their asses and sort me out a cat back system for the Leggy... should be enough for 260 ponies

Ron, can you organise a Sunday day time one next? Sounds like there are a few tasty cars around now, and would be good to have a look at the cars. Also invite Glen and the Max Power EVo posse along

I may have project 400 sorted by then
(Maybe a little less)MB

Up pipe connects from the headers into the turbo, downpipe is the longer pipe on the outlet of the turbo which goes down under the drivers floor.
Dont think a CEL fix is needed on non bug eye, but check with the exhaust supplier.

Trust you to turn the conversation blue... although Soulgirl would have done that soon anyways

I can't put mine in the garage because my girlfriends old Clio is in there.

I wonder if there's a Dorset Events section on the Lancer forums? might make it more interesting if we all join forces when the nights are lighter?
I'd quite like an Evo myself as a third car.

I want one now
