Went to see Collateral when it came out. Didn't know it was a Michael Mann film, but had an inkling it might be when I was watching, some of the cinematography was so much like Heat (the view out of the subway train near the end of the film).

Not a bad film though. Good to see Tom Cruise as a bad guy as well.

Some moments made us laugh, though one is not sure if they were meant to be laughed at.

As for the Bourne films. I must say I enjoyed both of them, I think Matt Damon makes a rather good Jason Bourne. Have to agree with dba that it would have been nice if they had stuck closer to the books.

Anyone see "The Aviator" yet? (it's about Howard Hughes) Saw it the other week and apart from it being somewhat long, it's rather interesting. I knew a little bit about Mr Hughes, mainly that he was a man with a brilliant mind but severe OCD.

Saw Collateral last night, seemed to me it ended just as I thought it would. Pretty predictable really. Not sure I liked the usage of video footage during certain parts, it made for cheapness.

Going to watch Bourne Supremacy tonight.
