Exclamation Bloody floods

Water water everywhere up here today, got through one small river accross the road but turned around and blatted down the motorway while the missus ploughed through it in her MG...subaru,s and water don,t mix and the new exhaust would have probably sucked the lot in lol so iwasn,t gonna chance it!!!!.Its coming off as its far too loud in the wagon due to the back being more open, sounds good on boost down the town but after a while its a just a Din ..would be fine in a saloon ,so i,m gonna get what i was first going to fit and thats a tsl firestorm tornado as i,ve heard they aren,t to loud...
bryan we luv hearing from you , you know that but we like pictures as well as words lol, i,m glad you are not the editor of the daily sport lol

PMSL ya b@st@rd's

Here we go for starters, I've got more on my PC at work.

Simon P - are you sure you dont want the afterburner back....bit of dyamat and you'll be fine.

Matt - give me a bleedin chance I only got it last night.....but I've had a chance to clean it

Lower rear

Front 4 point

Defi's with knock and lambda fitted

and finally the exhaust that may please the mrs, there's not much that can please her these days

It scrubs up alright Simon (jgm)

Right back in five, I cant seem to find the one's of the engine and there's a rather unpleasant smell in the room......best go and change my 2 year olds nappy

Yeah sorry I didn;t have time to clean it before you arrived.

I might be interested in trying the afterburner on mine.. depends how loud you find the Hyper.. as I have gruppe-s headers to go on whcih tend to take the sound down a little.. the noise on yours seems to be the Dugga.. and not sure how much the Megans add to it.. although Maffa's doesn't sound like that!

lol

Was expecting some Daily Sport style pictures.. lol

I am sure Paul was referring to the fact that it would have to suck through the MAF sensor if you were on an Apexi.. no need as you have a Link.

Exhaust sounded a lot quieter on the phone Bryan.. I seriously couldn't hear it on idle when you first rang and said "How's that sound" lol.. yet it had a nice rasp when you drove off.

Does it still have that sound resonance at 2500rpm?

Hopefully the wife will be happy! and the neighbours, and all the people living within 2miles of you. lol

Hi Simon,

The exhaust has now gone, it was off the car 5 minutes. I have alway used brownbread and never had a problem with it, you can do 2 layers but try 1 first. look on #bay theres loads of the stuff for sale.

I haven't but he's only 10 minutes down the road, I could meet you in Tonbridge if you need to give him the fuel rails.

Simon,

I've got some unused sound deadening in the garage. Got a full pack of this stuff from South Africa:

http://www.roadkill.co.za/index.htm

For 24 square foot it was about £50 including postage & import duty.

Compare that to £140 for 36 square foot of Dynomat or £80 for 30 square foot of Brown Bread

Drop me a PM if interested Bryan can vouch for the reduction in cabin noise from using the stuff in my car. 1 pack did my entire boot, under the rear seats & the doors
