Accept my apologies. However it's understandable as most of the cluless halfwits make such comments (and actually mean them).

As a joke..... lol.

You earn less but cost of living is alot less - not to mention quality of life.

Atleast France has remained French. Which is more than can be said for "England".

yeah but Im just putting up the argument you make about the House market being expensive here, but you gotta remember you earn more than alot of countries... well some people do. French youths can be just as bad as youths in the UK but you wont be reading about them first hand in the paper will you.

Probably something to do with the fact that all the immigrants, on a beeline to our benefits, go straight through France leaving it untouched!

French Government have had the share of Algerians and Africans. They (unlike here) are not a soft touch anymore - they have wisened up.

They have more respect for their country and their culture to allow it to go down the same route as Chavland (England).

D'you know, that 'soft' thing made me laugh when I first started spending weekends up here in Ponty. There was me, last winter (snow, the works), wandering around town in a denim jacket cos that's always done me down on the coast, whilst the local 'hard' northern population were wrapped to their noses in parkas, scarves and woolly hats.

Anyway, ****-head tw*ts aside there are some really nice people up here. The gf's family are the nicest bunch of folks you could meet. It's the kids that are b*stards. Huge gangs of them with 'nowt' to do. I think the people must just breed more up here.

Travel Inns
Carpeted Bathrooms & Kitchens
Two foot square gardens with 6" high cheap panel fencing around them
Premier Lodges
New housing estates
Harvesters
Pebble dashed houses
The "If I want to be considered a good worker I should always work late" attitude
Ordering a raw tomato with my breakfast and being told, "sorry we haven't got any raw tomatoes, I could do you a grilled one."
Pubs that serve beer in plastic glasses
The attitude that it's better to avoid a spotty oik than confront one

What do I dislike most? Fecking whinging b@stards who've got nothing better to do all day than go on and on and on about what's wrong with Britain/ the world in general, whilst remaining firmly planted on their backsides and doing nothing about it all!

No wonder we're known the world over as winging brits/ poms!

a) Too many immigrants + open-door immigration policy
b) Stupid property prices, overcrowding & massive legal aid bill (result of a)
c) No-win no-fee crap ("tripped over on the pavement? sue the hell out of the council" etc )
d) Political correctness - dont need to go into that...

Thats it really - I think most of the problems come down to too much immigration. Nothing against these people on a personnal level, but so many problems are caused by them directly and generally theres no benefits from them being here.
