Company sick pay is a discresionary benefit, and the company reserves the right to pay out basically.... a variety of reasons can be quoted however one of which is that if the injury was as a result of taking part in a dangerous sport.

Therefore the question ~ what is deemed a "dangerous sport". I would consider sky diving etc dangerous.... but my form of motorsport not really dangerous... potential risk I suppose but I've been injured a lot more in Mountain Biking incidents !!!

oh yeah and mountain biking....

Err.. you think there's more to it than that?

Anyway all this is beside the point of the original issue, whether you believe it or not it's NOT a sport, and I have proved it.

Thankyou.
PMSL. All you've proved is that you can use google to find a random website to substantiate "your" claim.

....I'm afraid there IS a LOT more to darts than just throwing it and hoping. That merely shows ignorance on your part. Even people that don't watch/like darts can appreciate how much practise is required.

IIRC it was Ernest Hemingway who said there are only two sports, motor racing and bullfighting. The rest are just games.
