i missed out on a CAT B wrx for 480 quid the other day, was abit short of cash at the time. have you tried jasemac on here? he could sort you the running gear out cheap.
nah the jap spec wrx is 240hp and the uk one is much lower.
i'm not making the car 4wd. its going to be rear drive only so i'm getting rid of the front drive shafts from the gearbox.

Tim w. thanks thats the part!! bit expensive for what it is tho. might just take the stock diff to a machine shop and get them to cut it up a bit.

I agree about the expense part...but the image might be an inspiration for the machine shop
