I hope it gets better for you.
Adam only sleeps that long now and he's 6months!!!!!!! Its torture!
Mr.Scoobypreza sleeps through it all???? I don't know how he does it?
He has to go to work though so I never wake him up.
Be a different story when I go back to owrk in January though!
How am I going to cope?? I have no idea... anyone got a miracle cure?

Dan is 10 weeks and for the first few weeks was asleep most of the time - now, thankfully, he leaves most of his sleeping to through the night but that does mean the little blighter needs entertained all day long...
He fell asleep about 20mins after being born and was flat out for hours - was bit strange as I could see his eyes moving around so god only know what he was dreaming about.

Does Adam sleep for long periods during the day though ? Jake can sleep over 8hours straight in the afternoon
, but only a few hours at night.Does he take a big feed before you put him down ?
Just guessing really, I'm no expert !

Maybe Half and hour if I'm lucky!!
He isn't a big fan of milk.
I breast fed for 5months but he just refused it in the end.
He has a bottle now but only about 4oz per feed.
He is getting more interested in his solid foods now but he's a little and often baby not a big eater.
He rolls, crawls, and pulls himself up to stand with anything he can get his hands on.
He even managed to use a the glass door of a cabinet to stand up using the flat of his hand to walk up. I think he's going to be one of those spiderman stunt men who climb stupidly high buildings!
You would think he would be worn out wouldn't you!
I am thats for sure

He has a strict bedtime routine every night he will sleep for 2 hours maybe 3 if we are lucky!!
I have tried everything!!!! We are seeing a cranial osteopath now to see if that will help. Had two sessions and no change so far
But its early days. Its all worth it though ... he said Mama on friday for the first time.
How could anyone not love this face.... even if he doesn't sleep gggrrrr!!!!
Bl00dy hellfire ! You've got your hands full !!!
I feel for you, and don't really know what to suggest I'm afraid
Certainly a bag of energy you have there !
A happy and good looking lad tho
Hope it improves for you...soon !

The day sleeping cycle is what you need to try and break. Easier said than done i know, but enforced wake up times and feeding during the day and very low reaction at night (feed but low lights, no chat, no entertainment etc) seems to help condition them, but it can take a while.
IMHO, It's not usually a problem with them sleeping too little, as an 8 hour stretch would be very welcome at night, I'm sure, it's them doing it at the wrong time of the 24 hr day that is the problem... Check out the Geena Ford book (sp?)- I thought it was a load of american borrox myself at the start but it really seemed to work eventually. No guarantees as I'll freely admit we've only had one success so far, and, as Chuck says they're all different, but I'm quietly/stupidly confident that the boy will benefit from it too. It's a bit like that nanny programme on TV - she seems strict but the parents and the children seem to be happier once in an ordered routine.
Anyway good luck - I'll probably spend the next 10 years awake all night after tempting fate like this
