Al, I can only congratulate you on your new appointment, please bring your brother along on the night if he's *cough* fit enough to make it. I'm sure we all feel the same as Hawk (by that I mean truly sorry for your brothers situation, not gullible fools who'll swallow any old crap thought up on the spur of the moment as a last ditch attempt to get a place on the list) and we'll have a whip round on the night to buy him a new syrup-of-figs.

I don't think he'll be able to make it mate. On his death bed he is. Look.
He just coughed a grateful thanks to Paul and went back to fitfull sleep. Bless.
As you can see. His syrup is a little loose fitting and thanks the kind generous souls for having a whip round to get him a better one.
He quite likes this one from the 'Wig Warehouse' (Really! http://www.wigwarehouse.co.uk/menswigs.htm).
£2.50 (in P&P).
Paul. Don't be too harsh on Sticky.

How true.
I think there's a space free at No 74 isn't there?

Hang on.... So our part-time Chairman is now top of the Ruf list, thanks to an invented comatose brother and a dodgy syrup...??
Methinks money or banned substances have changed hands.....
Al - have you been ingratiating...???
Paul - have you been accepting...???

Ladies and Gentlemen, the case for the persecution...
If your only sibling was lying on his deathbed due to chronic allopecia, would you have the bare faced cheek to walk around looking like THIS...
I rest my case. Get back to no. 74.

Ah yes. The summer look. I think it looks pretty cool.
I honestly thought you'd have mucked about a bit with the Photoshop to turn it into a revolting picture...
Can you have a go and come up with this? My missus will be quite pleased.
Or do you need some more processing power?

Can't be an earlier pic of you, 'cos they guy in the picture looks to be in his early 30's, and we ALL know that any pictures of you at that age are at best black and white (probably even sepia)
BTW, forgot about simpsons! on the main list, which means you're now no.75.

Loathe that I am to get away from the ridicule and constant beatings an interesting pause........
I have been speaking tonight to a young gent by the name of Jody Firth. He's a Wakefield lad currently driving in the latter stages of the Formula Renault (single seaters) for Embassy Racing (embassyracing.com) as he gets some testing in.
He's a bit tasty and has started off particularly well, being picked up by this team straight from karts (noted as a prodigy) to drive in the the full card Formula Renault rounds next year. The team also run a Corvette in the GT Champs. Next year they are changing the Corvette (he couldn't tell me what) to run a 'competitive' car in the full GT calendar.
I was talking in order to get some possible sponsorship from my work, but the main throw back is that they are having a series of launches and meetings around the country to which he has said there may be a chance to get some guest passes. This inlcudes le-Mans. I'll bring more news to the meeting, but I thought I'd give a heads up to those interested in coming along to the GT car launch next year at Silverstone, possible visit to the garages in the Wakey area and a trip to Le-Mans (this was being planned anyway, but adds a bloddy great cherry to the top!).
He'd be interested in popping along to one of the meets to have a chat and a beer..... Nice bloke.
He's also on the look out for some sponsorship.. so if you want to support a local lad, who looks like achieving some good things, then you know where to put some of your hard earned..
Links to various bits for your information.
www.embassyracing.com
http://www.crash.net/uk/en/news_view...d=26&nid=85893 Bit on Jody and the team.
I haven't met the guy yet, but he seems a very nice chap.. So this isn't some cynical ploy to make some friends and stay at the top of the list (though it may work that way! ). Just a quick note to add a few things to our calendar for the coming year..
Sincerely, your (yes Chris, full time ) Chairman. Always on the look out for a decent doo!

Well done Al - we always had faith in your Chairman-like abilities. All this sounds very interesting, except the 'He's a bit tasty' bit..... Careful, or Apple will have something to say.
Anyway, you have amply redeemed yourself to the assembled flock.
