Question

Dunno what's going on with SN but I got no mail notifications of posts

I'll do an ECU reset tomorrow as i've tested the voltage across the ICV & TPS & they're fine. It's just a real pain as below about 2000 RPM it wants to drive like i'm a learner with kangaroo petrol?? Anything above that & it's peachy

Lambda sensor

Airleak between the maf sensor and turbo

Have you checked the iscv shaft moves freely? Undoing the 2 screws and rotating the cap should change the rpm significantly.

I think i'll check the Lambda as my Lambda Link doesn't work now

Don't think there's any air leaks but i'll double check.

ICV moves fine. I checked it's movement & yep the revs on idle do move quite significantly

Jeez now the fault codes have gone through the roof

23 - MAF Sensor Circuit
24 - Idle Control System Malfunction
31 - Throttle position sensor circuit
45 - Pressure Sensor

Those 4 are all probably just from your fiddling. Ive seen playing with 1 sensor, cause a fault code on another before, which you can see why would happen.

Do a reset and see what happens.

Oil may well be from the rocker gasket? Could equally be from anywhere

Mine was the sump leaking on my new motor.

(As no gaskets are used) had a bit of sealant on it. Fine.

Could possibly be the sump leaking I spose. I did an oil change after 1k on the new engine & ever since then it's been leaking. I think it could be a simple case of the sealant leaking after I had to use brute force to loosen the sump plug I'm sure the garage will find it though . Fixing the fault codes might be a different kettle of fish. Might need an expert in all that stuff but you never know
