Okay, I'll come clean.
It's 8pm at the Trading Post, just trying to get my own back on HB for leaving me gasping for breath at the weekend.

As for Apple..... Well, hope deserted the lad many moons ago....
Gawd - I've just realised that Andy P will probably 'spin' my careless use of the word 'moon'.... Argh!
So, Martyn, Andy - are you coming along this eve guys? For a new zoo recce?
#254
Soz HB - would love to come along but too many things to do b4 weekend and visiting hours don't leave a lot of time left
Now why would assume I'm working on your use of the moon wording or should it be "once in a blue moon" when you go out MTBing on a cold night
At least the chafing and friction burns inject some heat...
Careful not to put my foot too far in it

Soz guys, a bit too much to do in the new house at the mo', so I'll have to skip this one
Today I have plumbed in a washer, fitted a ceiling light, fitted 2 curtain poles, 2 venetian blinds and a radiator thermostat. Haven't had chance to finish wiring up the hi-fi though
FWIW, I don't mind either of the previous favourites.
Trading Post ticks all the boxes well, but is a bit souless.
The Black Bull had a smaller car park but a little old worldly charm, and better roads en-route
CU all on the 25th. Maybe the callous's on my hands will have healed by then
Daz & Sticky, did you get the PM (x3 ) with the link to that vid

I think everyone was agreed last night that the Trading Post was the best choice having everything we need, along with some very tricky local roads!!! As i discovered to mey peral last night when i disintegrated my front offside alloy on a curb of a tricky bend . Will cost me an arm and a leg to get repaired so im told (two new wheels/tyres, suspension struts and possible brake parts ) but on the good weve now got one hell of a trophy for the winner of the next carting event, the hub section of the alloy that was left on the car with a couple of spokes still attached - mounted on wooden plinth. Andy's got a nice disply on the wall of his unit too, the rest of the wheel still intact without the centre hub.
Ok thats enough crying, pull yourself together man its only a car! Sniff, sniff
