Some have been OK, some haven't. Depends how hard you push it and how lucky you are.

What do you mean by 'rally spec'? Are you talking about a dog-box?

No, not a dog box bob, he mentioned the make of the gear box, i just can't remember exactly what it was, it was imported from england and he paid 2000pounds for it, he's currently using the same gear box on his prodrive sti 4 which he uses here in the rally. He had the gear box fitted because he tried the standard ver6 gear box and centre diff on his rally car which he blew in one race, so he put this on as a replacement, he did mention it having a 4:4 ratio and much thicker teeth than a standard subaru gearbox...
