WYIOC - 28th October Meet
I think HB has the worlds only STEALTH Scooby
He was telling me about a trip back from Southampton (IIRC?) where he averaged 012mph (spelling ?
)
To regularly do those speeds on Mways and get away with it, he's either impervious to all current speed detection devices or he simply baffles the apprehending officer with his encyclopedic legalwaffle

Funny how he never joins us on track to show his speed prowess though, just keeps it to nice straight, wide Mways

bart. What part of Barnsley are you from? We usually have a little convoy over to Huddersfield from Wakey, if you're wanting to join that then let me know and we could possibly meet somewhere local (Ryhill / Havercroft / Royston)

If you're coming from Monk B then probably easiest to meet at Wooley Edge services (North) about 6:45 should do. (Bit of a way out for me, but I'll make the effort. It'll give you a chance to see how sane I really am before the rest start pulling me down)
Let me know.
Let me know.
Exciting? Our meets? Never seen those linked pictures before! More like...
Chris explains the intricate working of the 'Inboard Flange mounting on a 1964 Vauxhall Viva HA' to an excitable Fenay Bridge meet in 'The Snug'..(not pictured) (note: The fire extinguisher is at the ready in case Dazza's Polyester shirt bursts into flames from any excitable arm waving..) (Dazza took the picture and is obviosuly improving as you can see the people's outline)
Sticky gets ready to shows us his new Evo IX's 0-25 performance (centre).. He sadly couldn't do the 0-60 as the meet is only on for 4 Hrs.. and we don't meet on a steep hill..

And finally.. Martyn turns up in his new Mota..
Oh yes.. you're in for a treat..

Does anyone think Al's gonna have sobered up enough to drive by Thursday, given his last post?
Would have loved to have seen the reactions on the salesmens faces when he asked to audition 'THAT' cd in the new multi-million squid Hi-Fi...

As I'm getting on and have to be in bed nice & early, we've bought this forward to 9:30.
After you've wiped your tears away, it is finalised by the swapping of the £10 note of the realm to our club Treasurer (Harry_Boy) and the filling in of the ancient Membership form which can be handed in to the ancient club membership secretary Sticky.. whereafter he will either send you, or you can pick it up on the next meet, a nicely printed membership card that can be used at the FB to get 10% off all things eaten & drunk..
It can also be used at various establishments which are on the members area of the forum and looked after by the Webamaster that is Madgrip. This also contains advanced notice of special events.. etc..
All in all, the most value you can get for £10 this side of Spearmint Rhino.. Not that I know of course. Apple told me.. honest.
Anyway, you'll save the £10 alone in about 4 visits to 'The Bridge', never mind the other discounts (like off your Sticky Stuff graphics
)

Al, don't let on to anyone, 'cos we wouldn't want to break any habits, but that little pic posting session had me in stitches.
Shh.
PS, you need to own up to some other stuff, the 5ive thing's wearing a little thin.

BTW.. I let slip another Artiste, of a somewhat dubious boy band past, to Dave & Chris. Said artiste's CD (owned by my good lady) graced my new multi squillion £ HIFI the other night and sounded alright!
Disclaimer: This is a 'technical alright' when talking about soundstage and accoustic accuracy; Not about R****'s ability to make me wave a lighter and go all weak and cry.. OK?
Oi! Who stirred your cage?
Anyway, that T-shirt say's 'England' on the front., and is obviously too cool to be from C&A..
But Gary's strides?
Nothing on Next.. Burtons..?

A prize to the first person to find an online match to Gary's T-Shirt.. (and keeps the crap off me!)
