Ferrari 360 modena!

wooped a few on track, but i would still love to have one. I prefer the F40 though, thats a proper Ferrari.
The car in the bridge wall at the 'ring wasnt the stradale, it was a 355.

a friend of mine got one of these after owining an R34 skyline, then an RX7 typr R, then a 911 Turbo,....
i walked out of my house to say hello and have a look when he drove down the road in it for the first time,.. it had been raining. He got out slammed the door and shouted, 'bag of s*&t, 100k car and the wipers don't work! Slower than all my other cars too.....'

12.8 aint that slow. Saw a Lambo murcialago do 12.8 and a 550 marranello do 13.6 on a Dvd i have at home. I always thought that the 550 marranello was a beast compared to the F355, like comparing a standard uk2000 to a 22b really, unless the bloke couldnt drive.

I have seen scoobs do 15 odd second qtr miles so surely they are pxss slow too????? Just coz one ferrari does one 12.8 sec qtr mile we think thats its time and its slow ..... comical to say the least
the 360 also does 0-100 in nine seconds and the stradale does it quicker still ..

Ferrari's aren't about performance figures, gotta understand this. Owning and driving a Ferrari is all about the experience, the whole event of it. If you've not driven one, then you wouldn't know what it's like to sit in a Ferrari and drive past shop windows at 30MPH blipping the throttle - a totally different kind of joy

Ferrari 360 stradale for me with the £7k white stripe thats painted on the roof and bonnet. Theres a Ferrari/Maserati dealership near me everytime i drive past i always pick out a car that i want if i won the lottery, and to see 20 ferraris lined up on the forecourt can make any one drool.

Craig H ........EVO has 360 as 0-100 in 9 secs.
I have played with both the 360 and the stradale at the 'ring' as has Mr Felstead. In a straight line they are awesome and pull away from my 329BHP without a problem, so I feel 9 secs to 100 is realistic.
John ....... With the front end of the rarri totally gone it was hard for me to tell if it was a 355 or a 360 Ouch all the same though

Gutmann,
You may be right - have only been out in a friends - my scoob did 9 secs 0-100 and his 360 wasn't as quick. Yes he could drive, no he wasn't fat, yes I would've had him in the twisties
Was great driving around in it but it's not my kind of car. I prefer things that are plastic and fall to bits when you look at them
Dave,
Think you may be right about harj - I'm sure he was getting one

My friend borrowed one a few months back- blue 360 spider.
Put it against the scoob and I have to say equal to about 120 and the the 360 applies afterburner and f*cks off. Lovely sound though but nowhere nearly as quick round cold/ dampish corners as the scoob.

That stripe's not a real CS stripe - looks like it's been retro added.
The bumper is a CS bumper though, and it looks as though it has the right wheels.
I have heard of even CS owners baulking at the £6k for the stripe and therefore adding them to their cars independantly.
Real sorry to say this, let's not forget a CS owner could buy at least 6 Imprezas if he wanted to - but I guess it's not all about lap times.
