This is a genuine photograph. It was in Czechoslovakia if my memory serves. There are other pictures around, including the front end with the seats still in. The driver survived as he wasn't wearing a seatbelt and ended up being thrown into the same field as the front of the car. Also it was a standard two lane road. The driver admitted doing 80 + mph and losing control on a wet corner.
