had you watched top gear you would have known that the WR1 understeers like a pig on rollerskates.

Na shouldn't be that much - looking at around the 5k mark max it should go to is 5.5k I'm told by some very useful contacts.

Car is worth it though. I'll just be paying what I used to pay on my first ever 1998 scoob when I was 20.

So I take it you've never had an accident then ... suppose that the fact the investigator believes I hit a substance on the road means nothing then.

Nice!

Gangsta when I was learning my art I did have a couple of "OFFS".
I have photographic evidence somewhere of a 5 door I had sitting on a fence at Tesco Huntingdon after getting it wrong on a roundabout myself but that was a 5 door not a WR1!!!!
Winter with wet road and salt and mud from a building site = slippy slidey one way then the classic slap back the other way.
Can you not tell when someone is tekkin the ****???
if you react in the manner of which you seem to have chosen then I will be forced to tekk the **** even more so I should chill a little if I was you.
When I get me wheels I`ll show you how its done ok

As I am getting I am bound to defend the Wr1 BUT are all those who watched Top Gear really as stupid as I think they are???
The Evo was shod with and comes as standard with Yokohama tyres which offer a significan grip improvement over standard P Zerro Rosso`s.
I dont actually rate the PZerro`s at all the Michelins on my STI are far better.....que Simon to vouch for that!!!!!!...........SIMO????
Plus the Stig clearly doesnt know how to drive a car equipped with DCCD-A.
I drove my mates MR 340 the other night and that understeered as the road was damp and the tyres work very well on dry tarmac but are pretty **** on a damp cold winters night!!!!
Next time any cars are tested back to back it should be done all on the same rubber!!!
Just like the bike mags do.
That`d be a good place to start me thinks!!!!

Andy O just informed me before he left that you was probably takin the pi55 ... don't know ya that well so couldn't see that. Apologies for any malace in my message.

Would like to see ya put a WR1 through it's paces - have heard many stories about lift off oversteer and air time from the felcher O'Hara.

I'm just glad me off was at 30mph and not 130mph - learnt alot from the way the car went - even if I wasn't totally to blame.

What setting was the A-DCCD in when you hit the kerb, do you think that played a part?

Now that is very good for you Chins I like it!!!!
My wife likes the colour and that has some advantages
The Stig is a good driver but didnt do the WR1 or the Evo any favours really.
I`d have had the diff full back anyway.
But thats just me .
I think Mr. Felstead would probably agree.

Done That will fit in nicely time wise as I am busy for the next few weeks but then have a bit of spare time (at the mo )

I've got a couple of new vermin disposal guns too (Franchi 12b 3 shot semi auto in cammo and a BSA Superten .22 PCP in cammo ).

Enjoy the fishing, talk soon
