Your safe to park it anywhere as not many people like to be seen in a car that colour.

Guess you got a substantial discount? If not I would of gone for the MY05 in a nice colour.

Ditto what Jonathan said. Thought that the STi9 (10 or whatever) was a better deal seeing as it now has better tweeks to suspension than the WR1? Unless you worked that silver tongue of yours and got a cracking deal?

I have thought long and hard for some time about what to get and the T25 was top of my list for some time for sure....however.......it is still an import and a very expensive one at that with no official warranty and as you know I tend to use IM`s warranty a bit
It will depreciate very quickly as all imports do and its not an official listed car in other words its a "special" which will only appeal to certain potential purchasers when you come to sell it and may actually de-value it some more ???who knows???
I will however state that it is probably the best Impreza you can buy and Iain has done a fantastic job.
For me the Import route just doesnt add up as I intend to keep the blue rinse for the full 3 Year period I reckon stacked up cost for cost basis against say an 05 Import the WR1 will be worth more at re-sale.
Its all about the Subaru bomb proof warranty for me really girls and yes I did manage a fair deal.
T20 was on my list for a while too but if you take an import pay for an exhaust and re-map put some wheels and springs on it you are really at WR1 money.
I know the 05 car has improvements but how good do you want a car to be???
Iain has proved that with minor not too expensive adjustments to 03 and 04 cars they whip most things round the track.....I like tracks but inly probably one or two a Year its the road manners I am more concerned about.
And I dont want WR blue again and I certainly dont want blue and black interior so only one choice really.Just cant do blue/black interior with any colour exterior other than WR blue!!!!
I like to be different as my stylist says
So as usual its horses for courses but i am very confident i have made the right choice taking all the above into consideration PLUS I need to show that plonker Mike Wood how to drive one properly as he is a muppet!!
PS my learned friend has a new MR 340 and that tempted me for a while but I prefer the "mechanical" feel of a Subaru great car tho and very quick oh and the servicing costs were a little extreme too I thought.
Laters.

i bet you got at least £2,500 off the wr1 as i know of 5 garages that are not selling their cars at all, just like the last few p1's especially with the new improved 05 models coming out the only exclusivity is the colour which i still do not like

There's no garage on earth that will offer a brand new WR1 with delivery miles at 2500 less than the asking price!!!

Never mind mate!

With a haircut like yours, and a car in that colour, it's hello Blue Oyster Bar!
