just a short note from us,jesse and the rest of his family. we have been in and out of the hospital ,and after a serries of new tests,there is still no doctor who really knows what Jesse has. we will go back august 22nd, maybe by then they can tell us a little more.
right now Jesse sometimes complaines of having pains,that really brakes my heart. he has had a few rough weeks,but is doing alot beter now.
the make a wish foundation over here,is going to try to send him to the usa,he wants to see the show PIMP MY RIDE,they make beautifull cars from scrap. it will take at least till october before we hear anything from them,but still it is a very great idea(my friend told them about Jesse)
again thank you all for still taking the time to write a little note here. god bless you all jesse and micaela
ps the sub club want to make another jesse day in september,and at the same time set a record. so they want either 555 scooby's or at least 333(since a other car club got that much cars) the day will be around the 17th or 18 of september. we will keep you posted

here is the latest update on jesse
we now know that he has a very rare metabollic disease,it only comes by maybe 1 at 15 miljone. al his nerves are starting to die and his muscles too. right now he isn't doing so great,he is very tired and has trouble eating. he also has a lot of backpain. unfortunatly....he can't be operated,as you know.
but he is still hanging in there and is a happy boy.
so again thanks for everything...........you all are amazing

Jesse is still hanging in there. So we truly have a miracle. We are now just enjoying life as it comes. He isn't as strong as he used to, but he still is a very brave and more important happy little boy. So we can't complain.

passe almost 2 years any one nows how's jesse.

 

Fairly new to s/net just read some of the posts brought a tear to my eye WELL DONE TO ALL CONCERNED what more can i say brings it all home

Any word on how jesse is getting on.

 

Was wondering myself the other day.

 

Well, appearantly Jesse still has a lot of health problems. From what I can tell from the posts that he and his mum do on the Dutch forum, he has a lot of blood and fluid in his lungs, which cause breathing difficulty.

With medication, he is able to go to school now, but he has been in hospital for a number of periods with heavy treatments , blood transfusions, medication etcetera.

His mum says that "Jesse is a very tough kid" who at times endures a lot of pain.
Some members of the Dutch Subaruclub have frequent contact with the family.

Hello Guys,

I'm Charles from the netherlands and i want to let you know that on 21th of february we will meet Jesse again for his birthday.
Although he is very weak, his weight (with clothes and shoes) is about 36 pound he can't wait to see us again.

Each year we will celebrate his birthday with about 80 Subs and it is still a pleasure to meet him again..
