Just wave. Whoever they are tend to wave back plus they are left pondering as to "who the **** was that".

 

I used to drive around (in younger days) and beep my horn and wave, the amount of waves back was hilarious. . .

Thats my car mate am a manager at tesco so its either locked in the lock up or parked on the petrol station the 2 safest places to park it at that place!

Andy10 waving frantically. Was in too minds whether to wave back as I was thinking people may think I was weird as well, however thats the first fullblown wave

 

I am past bothering what people think of me. People in Tyldesley know I'm weird so what the hell. . Makes a change both being in Subaru's at the same time. Only taken 2 and a half years even though we live so close to each other.

 

I know, probably less than 500 yards and first time our paths have crossed in the scoobs.
I think I am gonna go down the graphics route, this means either respraying the wheels (may try a bit of nitromors or getting a new set of alloys)

 

The cars do get noticed a lot more with graphics on. Only problem is that young kids jump up and down and wave at you as you go past. Glad I am CRB checked to prove that I am not into them. Also the police tend to stare at you more although I have not been pulled yet whilst in the scoob.
Quite easy to put on as long as you take your time and plan their layout before starting.

 

I get kids jumping and waving anyway (must be the meaty roar), only been stopped once in the scoob for going 40 in a 30 on that main road near focus, let me of though with a little chat.

If anyone uses the M60 around oldham//ashton junctions be wary as they have the average speed check cameras in operation now.

 

Spotted two more on my travels tonight.

One was a black classic, with gold wheels and a pink subaru badge on the front grill at the lights near kwik fit... and the other was 'THE' pink one on the lancs.

Sorry I didn't wave if it was anybody here in the black one. I was too busy getting cut up by stupid **** who don't know how to use a bus lane.

Is it a full moon?? Something strange is definately going on. Where is AndiT these days. He seems to have vanished of the face of the earth.

 

I'm here, went out before and saw one scoob in about 2 hours, was a modified blobeye sport. Not seen anyone off here for a while..

 

Spotted a very clean White STI Classic through Atherton last night at about 9:30.

Would appear it getting to be like a concours comp round here lately.

spotted a blue new one nr the mini roundabout on the road going out of tyldesley centre yesterday at about 7ish in the morning. Was still asleep so only saw it in my rear view mirror after you pulled out

saw a blue think it was a late classic last night, it had a double rear spoiler on it, one on the roof and a mid level boot spoiler looked quite nice but I was quite a few cars behind so couldnt really see what it was.

 

Front bumper written off again last night. Luckily enough it was a friend who hit it, then came to tell me as I was in Leigh East. Desperately trying for the back bumper to be damaged like this as it has a small hole in it.
All your insurance premiums will be spent on my scoob at this rate. Money well spent in my opinion
New bodywork every 3 months, no wonder it always looks shiny.

 

Andy, sorry to hear about your bumper,not having much luck. Suppose when you get the car back though it will be all clean so saves you polishing it.

Spotted the white sti classic last night being driven by a petite blonde. Gave a wave but no response, however I could only see the top half of her head over the steering wheel so she may not have seen me.

 

saw a silver newage wagon yesterday, got a nod so reciprocated.
