Car jacking was on the 6th January in Leigh. Wasn't a scoob and wasn't a youngster driving it.

Can't give details but the victim is an absolute star.

andy10 spotted yesterdy on tyldesley road and also a red classic bout 3 cars behind got a wave of both of them.

Nice to hear Andys about, noticed there was a scooby a bit in front, didn't realise it was him, would have done some daft overtakes

 

i check on this thread most days and im gutted my black classic has never been spoted in the leigh to golbore area

 

Yer prob was andy was about lunch time i wasnt taking much notice just saw 2 scoobs pop up on after the other.

 

Anyone get caught in the traffic between Tyldesley and Atherton tonight? Lampost fell over in the wind, hoooooooooooge queue when I went past the other way at about 4:30..

Don't worry about it no-one ever spots my 03 sti either, and i am around the leigh area nearly every day.
Seen a few many times near asda, but no-one ever waves back.
Put this down to me being a female in a Subaru.

no mate i have silver 18 inch but i bo have scooby in gold on my boot lid

 

Oh, I have seen 1 or 2 other black (best colour in my opinion) with gold wheels (same as mine).
Im thinking of getting a newer classic when I move house depending on what cash I have spare. there is a black classic in the for sale section that they reckon is pushing out 400bhp or there abouts with a very good spec list.

 

mines not much behined that i have a new ej25 fitted and quite a few bits on it to help it on up. thats a new 2.5 engine by the way

yep I know what it is, where did you have the work done or did you do it yourself (judging by your name you could work in the trade)

what sort of costs were involved with it as well as I was toying with building a 2.5 bottom end and then swapping my heads over etc, getting a fmic and a remap on the power fc

this is a bit bizare we are having convisations on 3 threads now
i had it done at hypersports in wigan they do quite a few basicaly thats what is done to mine a 2.5 short block with my heads on with a bit of work some nice head gaskets and a few other bits engine was 1600 and total cost was just over 3000 job done

 

Was only joking Donna, wish mine was an sti, mine is an old wrx on a K plate, probably hear mine coming though as it is very loud (in a nice way).

Is yours silver by the way Donna? If so do you have blonde hair as I saw a silver sti nr the hospital in wigan on the 04/01/07

do you rate Hyper then? I have heard/read mixed reports about them, I have been in a few times last time enquiring about changing a timing belt (not a job I like doing myself) and also a new clutch. they seem okay and although the garage always seems full, no one ever seems to be working on any of the cars. If they are okay may give them a try with it being local and that, and they say they can map the apexi as well which is a bonus.
Does your 2.5 bottom end use standard rods and pistons or did you uprate them?

 

they have been good with me i carnt fault them i think it might be little jap pixis that work on the cars at night
i just bought a brand new short block with standard internals they said it would be fine for up to about 400 bhp with the right bolt on mods plus they have a brand new rolling road state of the art and i think its only 35 for a run on them

 

ahh they finally got the rolling road then, they mentioned it when I have been in on both occasions, once was early last year and then probably november

 

im sure they had it in november its quite a while when i last went and they had it then

 

I drive down the Lancs to Golbourne roundabout and head towards Warrington down the back roads every day ending up in Fearnhead Warrington.
Yesterday I saw an impreza coming towards me with spakky coloured sidelights as I was heading towards the Lancs from Hermitage Green to the crossroads near the garden centre...
Anyone on here? It might have been a WR1 judging by the colour You were in a hurry Probably off to get those sidelights sorted .

 

If it was a mica blue one with blue/white side lights and zennon headlamps, it was me in my 03 sti, i don't recall seeing you but you are right i was in a hurry.

No i have brown hair now, but it's naturally blonde, i drive a mica blue 03 STI type uk REG is RO03***, normally out and about round Leigh area on Mondays and saturdays.
You will be able to spot mine easily it has very bright zennon headlights and blue/white led side lights.
