Exactly my point so if 6 or 7% of people have had an experience, how many go on to beciome full time gay?? Even if it is half, we are down to 3%. And of those how many have kids, again if half that's 1.5% and I suspect conservative.

I give up Olly, sorry.

And no, my posts were not wildly inaccurate, in case you keep on thinking you are the cleverest guy since sliced bread.

Jason, "pale" would be the word I would use.

Who knows, but they are figures put out by a Lesbian and Gay group so if I were cynical I could suggest they have increased the figures anyway. I am happy to accept they are probably not too far off the mark with their figures and at least there has been some effort to find out rather than just pick a figure and band it about as fact.

Well if you are prepared to accept that a factor of 10 out is acurate then so be it. It's a bit like paying £8 a litre for optimax, you may be happy with that, but I don't think I would be.

I cannot see what importance any figure is in respect of who is gay and who is not. Who cares quite honestly. If you're gay you're gay, if you're not you're not. We are all human and should have the same respect whatever sexual path we choose

That's kind of the point, I was picking up that somebody was banding about figures and making claims with absolutely no evidence to back it up. He could have been talking about the termite population for all I care. The point was he made a guess based on nothing and then when somebody did dig some figures out he was shown to be wrong, that's all, nothing to do with gays as such, just a principal.

I think gays that are afraid to 'come out' should be encouraged to live their life to the full. I think it is very sad for those that cannot admit to their friends and family that they are gay because then they cannot live their lives in a capacity that is achieving and satisfying. They fear alienation from those that are supposed to love them for who they are, unconditionally. To be suppressed in that manner must be awful and very frustrating

Can you answer me in 2 minutes from who the quote "Survival of the fittest" comes ?

Can you then explain to me what said person actually meant by this.
Quick... cue

Soulgirl, before people think you are quoting the wrong thing...

That's from a post I did and then decided to delete, as I lost my cool.

Mind you, Google is not always the answer. I got worked up about that one about 20 years ago, as did people before me.

Spencer BTW.
