WYIOC - The Run II - 26th Aug
Damn, looks like I'm going to join Al by blobbing my first meet as well
(Rallydrive doesn't count as that's extra-curricular activities
)
I'm being messed around over a printing job and am having to see the final person tomorrow night
Dave, dunno what type of printing you do (mags or boxes) but it'd be a doddle if it wasn't such a small run - 100 copies @ 10 pages each but the bloke keeps changing the content of his ad in a syllabus
See you for the next one...
Andy

Al, I'm gutted taht you can't make it mate. Looks like we'll have to find a new whipping boy...
Hmmm....

Well, looks like it's me, thee and Dazza again, Dave. (There's no chance of Chris finding us, that TOM-TOM thing only works abouve 99MPH, and we're talking Leeds rush hour)
Should be there for 7 (ish)
Look for something bright yellow with a proper badge
Assuming Lloyd's TSB pull their fingers out...
...Look for something blue with stars on the badge
Dazza, are we meeting at your's? 6ish?

me and the missus have decided to split up after 17 years together, I guess we just grew apart, so things are a bit **** at the moment
have a good & safe run guys, and hopefully I'll make the next one

Thx Gary, I'm not going to spill my problems out on here, although its good to know that theres people there if I need it. Its a mutual decision but it dosnt make it anyless upsetting or easier. It is easier on here though because at least you cant see that I'm a blubbering spaz at the moment

I feel we need an Impromptu meet next week at 'The Bridge' to re-group, sample the new menu and cheer Phil up.
Sorry to hear about that mate.. I'll get in touch next week to meet up and have that cuppa or Beer at the Angel that we've been meaning to have.... OK?
I'll post next week on another thread so as not to hijack this one..
Al.

Sounds good to me, Al.
I think we might need to look into organising a 'proper' night out round town for the lot of us too. WYIOC Pre-christmas do?

thx Al but I really dont think I'm up to it at the moment, I feel like the world has fallen from beneath my feet and its really not something you want to see.
I'll still be around & hopefully be able to keep the car, but if not youll have to get the beer in as you'll be at the pub long before me.
thx again
Phil

Phil - YHPM mate...
So guys - is it Dave, Sticky, Dazza and me - on the assumption that I stay above 99mph, and manage to find the rendevous by licking my finger and sticking it out of the open window??
Even Al and Gary have deserted us.....
Al - yes - let's re-group at the Fenay Bridge. Thanks for the offer of beers mate.

Okay - so assuming that I'm travelling up to you (if there's no-one else from Hudds), where are we meeting???
Finally (in this somewhat rambling post...) - Apple - Andy mate. Are you coming along?? If you're not sure, we could go up in mine if that's preferable.... Let me know mate!

HB, assuming you would dare to venture so far East with nothing more to guide you than your wet finger (fnarr) and some kind of old drum, you might like to join myself and Dazza for the run to Dave's (or straight to Ilkley, not been decided yet!) If so give me a bell before 5pm and we'll sort out a rendezvous location.
You have my number, young Padwan.
I need sleep.Up at 4:30 8-)

hawkeye, will be aiming to leave the Woody at about 6.30pm to get to Ilkley by 7-7.15.
Andy, any decision yet ?
Phil, sorry to hear the bad news mate. We're all only a click away if you need to take your mind off things for a while.

To recap, Harryboy is leading the Fenay Squadron from Hudds, leaving at 6.30pm
I am leading Sticky ?, Dazza ?, Steve and Hawkeye (be nice to meet the new boys
) from the Woody.
Anyone else still attending will be waiting in the lay-by on the A65 just outside Ilkley at 7.15.
We need to be back at the Red Lion before 9.30pm to ensure the full menu is available, otherwise it's sarnies. The midweek recce was a bit curtailed and so excuse me if there is a little head scratching and the odd wrong turn up above the Ranges (only be over there twice, and got lost the 2nd time
Looking forward, CB

Defo going tonight.
In the Thrapper at the moment but if the weather turns grim I'll be back in the Scoob. Finger's crossed since it will be the Thrapper's last run before replacement
