Chrome, feel free to move me into batch 2 if you want as i`m in no rush. I`ve offered them to John Banks by text, hopefully he`s still on same number. But, incase he doesn`t need them, is anyone else interested?

FYI: All gaskets were sent INSIDE the box!!!
Inside the ONE box are the headers, and upipe- snug isn't it?

Thanks for the Group buy, things are beginning to look sweeeeeet!!
I assume that a tracking number will come regarding my downpipe.
My other exhaust parts arrived today, Hayward & scott centre piece and backbox. My car is going to shatter windows at high revs.

mine used to have a quiet prodrive backbox on but on full chant it was loud would scare you how loud the exhaust could be

Any of you guys fitting these headers to a Newage car? Would appreciate some feedback on performance difference - I have this mod in mind for the future. Also any useful fitting advice would be much appreciated (save me making same mistakes as you'se lot )

3" DP, modified Hiper Centre- non resonated mild steel centre! hiper Backbox= LOUD and violent!
Isn't very bassy with my OBX headers, but should sound fierce with the GruppeS !!! cant wait
just need my Defi's to arrive to complete the latest phase of upgrades!!! Wo0T!

 

Mine arrived this morning, whats next then Chrome on the GB front?

 

Can someone measure the internal bore of the headers before you put them on the car please, will save a lot of time.

ASAP would be really helpful.

got mine this morning, many thanks for arranging the GB and for your patience etc. chrome. Pity my circumstances have changed and i`m getting rid of them, but at least someone else will get them at the same price i paid (plus p&p )

 

internal bore of one of the four pipes is 39mm on mine

 

hm maybe some suspension? that will be q1 next year though..
if not, then hopefully NOT a gearbox

Should there be a gasket between the up-pipe & the turbo? I ask cos I aint got one!

Will I kill the performance gains from manifold/up-pipe/down-pipe if I get a 'quiet' (that's a relative term of course!) performance backbox?

 

GimmeMore- sorry mate I cant help you. I only recieved the gaskets for the manifolds that were delivered to me.

I am desperate to know what you guys all think of these.

I am thinking of buying some but waiting on your results?

Does the scooby burble change at all or do these headers actually keep it.
