Gary, you might be too late...
Mmm..
Everyone.. Is Gary not too late?
Events & membership sec.. Is Gary not too late?
Need some resolution on whether Gary is not too late.. as I may have to make an executive decision on whether he's too late..
Anyone?

Mmm, dunno. I suppose we could let the odd straggler in, and Gary is a little odd
Cut-off proposed to be 7.01pm 29th July 2004. Anyone arriving after that is unfortunate as the club can in no way be deemed to condone exceeding the speed limit to catch us up

well I was right
not going to be able to make it because of work
also got a fauly lambda in the uppipe that Subaru want £300 to replace anyone know of anywhere cheaper )
good news was that my 2nd RR today confirmed my BHP as 294.. last RR was 297 so it must be pretty accurate

and if you're stumped / can't remember what the UK roads are like (how were the hols? ) I'm sure we can manage a mini convoy from the maypole or the mad mile
Phil, is it something that fits STis as well as WRXs because someone posted a link up to scrappers in Sheffield (Central Auto Salvage?) that had a couple of STis in (bugeye and blobeye) if it's something you'd want to risk from a scrapper...
A lad a work knows of another scrappers with qite a few scoobs in but I'd have to find out the name from him (Jap cars?)
Howsabout the Clinic or are they ust getting it from a dealer anyway plus their bit on top?
HB - have you any details for the TTN3 pub destination as I ended up manually pointing to the middle of the dam wall to set it? (PS are you taking the 300D? )

conflicting views as to where the lambda actually is on my car for some reason.
I decided to take of the electrical connection to thee sensor at the top of the up pipe and gave it a squirt of breakcleaner. I've just got back from a 50 blast and no CEL and everything seems fine keeping fingers crossed

Phil, according to my manual, the lambda sensor is probably the "rear oxygen sensor" as it senses the gas after the cats to work out how to set the mixture etc via the ECU
I've emailed you a couple of pages about it if they're any use...
If it's something else, let me know and I'll have another search

Thanks Andy. the error is P0031 Heater Control Senor (bank 1 Sensor1)this is the response I got from Bob Rawle to a thread I started in General
There are two, one in the collector of the headers at the bottom of the up pipe, thats a pseudo wideband and is the on used for the closed loop off boost fuel adjustment and idle, the second is at the bottom of the downpipe or start of mid section and is a narrow band sensor, that is there just to check on the condition of the cat.
The front one is the expensive one unfortunately but thats the one you need and it does have to be the right one.
Phil

Glad you got it "sorted" even though it's not what you wanted to hear

Won't be going on this now, folks. Unless it's in the wife's car, but very doubtful.
Had a major RTA in the Evo today, wouldn't care if I never saw a performance car again.
Don't want to go into detail here.
See you soon.

Family weren't in with me, thankfully. Passenger was a Scooby owner who'd just had a bit of work done. (Jim, if you read this, hope you're okay, mate)
My main concern is for the occupants of the other vehicle, at present I've heard nothing on their condition.
I'm okay, just cuts and bruises.
Thanks all for the concern, I'll keep you posted.

Likewise, also very sorry to hear about this Andy. Very sad news. My thoughts are with you and the family, and the occupants of the other vehicle..

Thanks all.
It happened at 4pm yesterday, and I'm still waiting to speak to the Police. Can't believe it's taking them so long to get around to taking a statement.

This is not just directed at HB and myself , but we have all had our moments of getting lost in our convoys.
but this made me laugh !
was in Hawaii on holiday last week and stumbled across a meet over there in a shoppling mall car park.
40 odd cars all tried to leave in convoy and got lost in car park
other than oulton we normally get out of car park together.
scoobies goin in all directions asking which way did they go !
You would have liked it Phil mostly in underground car park out of sun.
the sound of 40 tuned scoobs and dump valves echoing about in all directions was good.
got some piccies (had loads of memory left as there is no topless in Hawaii)
big mod over there is enlarging cup holder to take monster coke cups b4 anything else.
loads with no spoiler on boot as its an optional extra in USA , they look well weird
